I was really hungry and passed by this restaurant 3 days ago to get some banku and Okro because I had their fufu before and I liked it . The okra soup had no taste at all 😢. I wasted my money $25 and even the meat had no taste as well . It was that bad .

Papaye is not what it used to be. The food doesn't taste as great and the interior needs to be remodeled or at the very least, repainted.

A great lineup of African cuisine options. As a picky eater, I usually stick to what I know but this time I wanted to try something different and I was pleased. The white rice with goat meat stew was good; I’m not a fan of spicy food so the savory flavors were put together very well. The plantain that I had added to the dish, gave it exactly what it needed. This is not my first time at the location so I can identify that the service could be better and more hospitable. I’m a person that likes to ask questions before purchasing or before inputting food into my body so I appreciate when people take the time to be attentive. Besides that, I will likely be trying their food again as they have a wide selection ranging from meats and stews to different starches.

Food was spoiled.

The food is amazing and very authentic. Sometimes, when I go there, I feel like the ladies that work there do not appreciate my contributions to the establishment. I'm always polite and never flirtatious.

I've been going to this restaurant for years. The previous people like Akos was always friendly. The restaurant never had a sense of urgency. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor. I just placed an order this evening and decided to call to remind them to send me my egg because they never do. The idiot that answered phone immediately greeted me and stated that I wrote too much concerning my order when I ordered through African Dish Out. I never spend less than $100 with these people and this dude had the audacity to make such a statement. I asked is this how you treat your customers by acting like a man with no manners? All I know is this is the last they will ever see my money... It's never that serious. Kwasiasem!!! Customer service training is seriously needed!!
