This place isn’t bad at all. Actually very good for the area. What I have a problem with is the service. Saturday afternoon I went to order my pork fried rice and well done chicken wings chopped up and I went to pay with debt card and they told me no debt card only cash. Which wasn’t a problem at all but when I got back to pay one of my co workers used a card and a Spanish lady used a card so therefore I was upset because I don’t lie to be lied too. At this point I feel like this establishment is prejudice to colored people when it comes to using a card. Very upsetting and just turned me off from ordering food here. Change your attitude on how you treat people not everyone is scamming when they want to use a debt card. Disappointed.

So I was still in search of a decent chinese food place in this area and so far this spot is making the cut. I gave their general tso's chicken a try and it wasn’t bad. It was crispy and saucey not dry and stale like other places. You could see the spices on the chunks of chicken. The pork fried rice wasn’t bad but could’ve been fried a bit longer to really bring the flavor out. The portions are pretty satisfying. The delivery was a bit late because they wrote down the address incorrectly and they forgot the damn hot sauce.. but I’ll let that slide. The food made up for those blunders.

I used to really like this place till I bought some Chinese food today. I ordered a plate of general Tso’s chicken with a house fried rice with extra broccoli and a pork egg roll. The meat was extremely tough and many of the pieces were just fat. They forgot my broccoli and my pork egg roll. Everything just in all tasted weird. If I were you guys I would save money and go some place else because this place sucks

Bronx is usually a very long journey for me BUT this restaurant makes the trip worth it! I ordered the fried chicken wings along with some roast pork egg rolls. The chicken wings were extra crispy and the roast pork egg rolls were a delight. One of the best places to go in the Bronx if you are looking for a top quality meal.

The heart and soul of any restaurant, and Peking Housedefinitely shines in this department. The menu is extensive, offering a wide array of dishes from various regions of China. On my first visit, I ordered the classics – General Tso's Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, and Vegetable Lo Mein. The General Tso's Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delightful balance of sweet and spicy flavors. The Beef with Broccoli was equally impressive, with perfectly cooked beef and vibrant green broccoli in a savory sauce. The Vegetable Lo Mein was a pleasant surprise, bursting with colorful vegetables and a satisfyingly chewy texture. Each dish had its own unique character and was generously portioned.

Our crabsticks were old and gray and weren't breaded well. The rest of our order wasn't that good and we got sick from the food. For what we paid, it definitely wasn't worth it. I'm surprised they have a good rating; we won't be reordering from here.
Nice Chinese restaurant
I wish I can select no stars to post a review, but what we experienced today is beyond disgusting. From time to time we would order lunch from here but today there were rat droppings in 2 of our platters. It was in the plain fried rice. Let’s pray that none of us gets sick because we do not know if any of us consumed any of it before we saw at the near bottom of our rice serving! The health department need to thoroughly scan this location and make sure that it’s sanitary for all. Sadly they lost us as a customer.
Update: really good food but the delivery guy has come twice and is impatient, banging on doors, ringing the bell like crazy not allowing you to buzz him in. I won’t be ordering delivery from here again.Real improvements in staff and food. Experience has been great this past 6 months. Delivery person very nice too. Always order an hour ahead. Last update: Really good fried wings and crab sticks. Perfect crunchiness today. Well cooked and tasty. Staff was very friendly on the phone and delivery was prompt for Christmas Day. Person taking the order was good about repeating to confirm the order was correct.
