It's so sad to see this place temporarily close down I pray they open there doors again so many good memories growing up in the late 90s and early 2000s eating there almost every day Perista was the heart of Kings bridge.

Server was rude, annoyed when we tried to split our ticket with 2 cards. Overcharged us on the initial bill and then added a few more dollars on the split bill. Gave us a long strip of paper with both amounts and no pen to sign. Watery grits, cold scrambled eggs. I was surprised at the unpleasant treatment; I used to enjoy this diner. I will never go again.

This place served me the most delicious breakfast! Everything was great, minus the waiter being not the friendliest -but that was all canceled out when I realized he was also cooking AND waiting tables. He made us some DELICIOUS french toast.
Pro tip: Add the bananas to the french toast. Bananas make it perfect. Bananas on everything!

Terrible experience, they gave me someone else's order and when I called to complain about my order, even though I had the receipt in my hand, they argued with me and did not plan to send me my order and when they finally sent it, nothing was in accordance with what I ordered, a breakfast with a bad presentation and made of poor quality

Nice little place. Service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Beef sausage was amazing. Pancakes were good. My dad was getting surgery in VA hospital so I stopped by. Wish the sign for place was more noticeable that's all. But Def a place to stop for a breakfast!!
Best place to get your morning coffee in the morning before work! You will love Jose! He's fast, diligent and exactly the kind of staff you expect in a restaurant! Their toasted butter bagel with jelly is A1 btw and they make amazing breakfast sandwiches.
Kid-friendliness: They accomodate kids very well. They give them a chair to ensure that they eat together as a family and they act more kind when kids are around. The whole staff are amazing. From, Roberto, Jose, Chris (the son of the owner). They're all a great team that runs an amazing restaurant.
