Dope spot. Would go more frequently if I still stayed in the area! Delicious food. Wait staff is super awesome también
A great place for diner food!
The breakfast was great and the donuts are a must. The service was excellent. I liked how the cooks are behind the counter - you can see the action!
Would recommend!
Ignored - I’ve been wanting to stop in to pick up some of their classic doughnuts for a while now. Walked in intending to buy a dozen doughnuts and stood at the doughnut counter for 5 minutes. I was asked if I wanted to sit down and I said “No, thank you. I’m hear to get doughnuts.”
The person, who I assume was the owner, went back to standing behind the line jawing at this staff while the cashier was busy filling a phone order and taking more phone calls.
After 5 minutes of patiently waiting, an older woman rushed in, cut in front of me, and began barking a bagel order to the owner. He quickly rushed to the counter to fill her request.
I had to walk out.
This wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been ignored because I don’t look a certain way. However, this was particularly hurtful because it happened in my neighborhood and at a place I was looking forward to supporting.
As a regular customer and neighbor in the area, I’ve always enjoyed Pete’s Diner and the food they serve. However, I’ve noticed some issues with pricing consistency. Every time I order my usual, the price seems to change. For instance, a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich with two slices of cheese and double eggs (because they usually only include one egg) costs $9 one day, but last week, I was charged $6.50 for the same order. Similarly, when I’ve ordered waffles, eggs, home fries, and bacon, it’s sometimes $23 and other times $20 for the exact same platter. On top of that, the prices are quite high overall.
This inconsistency is frustrating, and it’s one of the main reasons I refrain from visiting the restaurant as often as I’d like. I really try to avoid going in because every time I do, I know I’m likely to be charged a different price for the same items.

My pancakes were awful, gummy, misshapen, and just not good. They put less than a handful of fries in the container for my sausage, eggs, and fries meal. Unfortunately because it was takeout I didn't know any of this until i was back home. A waste of $21. Their food used to be really good but it's been many years since I came here. I don't think I'll eat from here again.

I went to buy a bacon, egg, and cheese. I usually buy 3 and I come to this place 2 to 4 times a week. This time I only bought 1, the total was $7 dollars, the girl told me that the minimum is $10 dollars, I explained to her that I don't drink juice, coffee or Poland Spring water. I told her I was willing to pay an extra $30 cents to cover the $7 transaction fee, which is more than enough. She said no and made me buy a bottle of water, which I don't drink. I told her I would leave a bad review for that, because if I am willing to pay ¢30 to cover the $7 fee that most card companies charge 2.9% and I would pay that fee because it makes me buy a $3 bottle of water when in the stores those bottles of water only cost $1

This breakfast spot is consistently good!! Nothing fancy here, it gives local diner vibes! Solid food, reasonably priced. Fast, friendly service. Def would recommend! You can usually easily find paid or free street parking in the area.
