Great pizza, however, the pizza shop should be more clean. I saw some dirty tables and the floor.

Took an Uber from our first Yankees game to try the amazing pizza that we heard about. It's too bad that the listed hours were wrong. Showed up at 11:20 pm, online listed hours our until 330 am and they're closed. Cost us a ton of time and extra uber fees. I wouldn't eat her if it were delivered and free.

Our family visited the Botanical Gardens and then went looking for lunch in the area. We happened upon Pugsley's and had a great experience. We tried pizza by the slice as well as one of the subs and loved it all. Thin, crisp pizza crust was awesome! The owners/chefs provide a family atmosphere, we had fun talking to them and hearing the story of Pugsley's. Highly recommend it!

This was a fun, family-owned and run restaurant with great staff and delicious food. We ordered a pizza, and when it was ready and right before bringing it to our table, they hit a gong and beeped a horn, Marx brothers style. So exciting! The old fashioned decor was perfect, menu selections are excellent, and they go out of their way to make you feel right at home. We ate there before going to the Botanical Gardens--it is within walking distance of there, but parking is plentiful in their lot and on the street. Definitely worth a visit, and we will definitely be back for another!

Pretty great little place in the Bronx. One slice was definitely enough for me, though I tend to eat a bit less than most. But it absolutely filled me up. My boyfriend's friend treated us so I can't quite remember how good of a price it was. I wish they had better drinks available, and the seating was not very comfortable. Otherwise, quite the little hidden gem!

This pizza spot is truly a time capsule, run by a charming husband-and-wife duo. It’s a no-frills place, but that’s exactly what makes it so special. We stopped by while in the area and ordered a regular slice, a buffalo chicken slice, and a vodka chicken roll. Everything was fantastic – especially the house-made pepper toppings, which added a perfect kick to each bite. The owner was incredibly friendly, taking the time to check in with us while we enjoyed our food. If you’re in the neighborhood and craving a slice, this hidden gem is definitely worth the stop!

Horns, gongs, a graffiti wall, outdoor patio seating and a time capsule of a pizza spot are just some of the things you’ll experience at Pugsley Pizza.

Our first time here today, and we’re ot’s a husband and wife team running this joint, and both are a delight.
The guy making the pies has a larger than life, upbeat and outgoing personality, alternating between slinging dough, hitting the gong and making his rounds chatting up the tables. A very upbeat vibe, the food’s old-school great, with a nice variety between the pies, heros and calzones/rolls, and would definitely recommend for families.
