Here is the ONLY seafood market I go. The only market you can walk into and you won't smell fish or funk. I am always satisfied with their selection and service. The guys there have been there for years and they know their customers. That was the only thing I was sad about when my family moved out of NY. I even have them ship my fish to me because I live in the South now but haven't found a fish market that is comparable yet! I've even put them on our list...
This location is amazing most of the items are imported from Italy if you're looking for blue crab they have different sizes they have jumbo they have large they have medium they have fish roe they have fresh branzino they have lump blue crab. Lobster you name it.
I've been hesitant to write a review, but for selfish reasons: it's already a busy place, and I don't want to wait in longer lines. But the truth is the truth, it is easily among the best, if not the best considering high prices at the gourmet fish markets, retail fish markets in the city. A good selection of fish and seafood, always fresh; it is immaculate, with no 'fishy' smell, and the staff is always courteous, kind and respectful. Decent prices too.
