Food is inconsistent in taste here. Not sure why some days it taste fresh and other days taste like the chef wasn't in the mood. Also the customer service is rude. Look like they hate their life and job in there. Specially the girl in the cashier. Will get her name next time. She act like she can't hear. I'm not sure why most Jamaican restaurant have rude servers lol Please management. Hire people with welcoming attitude it'd help.

Buying food from here is a big disappointment. Order a medium curry goat w/ white rice . The curry goat was OVER cooked & VERY oily. Rice was tough. Completely turned OFF. Couldn't even enjoy. If I had ordered off of DoorDash , definitely would’ve gotten my money back . Would never buy food from here again.

The food seem like it was going to be great but while I was eating my rice and peas I found a metal piece inside of it and the food was very cold , the server kept giving me dirty looks . If your Spanish don’t come here it looks like they have a problem with Spanish people buying their food . I knew something was going to be wrong with the food by the way she kept looking at me . I was nothing but friendly to her and respectful horrible place , I don’t recommend !!!!!

The absolute worst service I experienced in 2025. The labies have bad attitudes, not helpful, they have the look of contempt.Since the dood does not have labels, and I had no idea what each dish was, the staff look annoyed when I asked questions.Management really needs to train their staff better.

I ordered 2 rice and peas with fried chicken $13 dollars each and fruit punch totaling $30 on Uber eats I asked for oxtail gravy she send dry food saying I didn’t pay 75 cents but than call me she should call the customer she also sent the wrong drink she should at least put whatever gravy comes with it why send dry rice and chicken then she had an attitude when I called no way to conduct business. Her exact words than call Uber and get your money back than . Owner please fire this girl she is ruining your business and loosing u money. You loosing $30 over 75 cent gravy . I use to love Richie rich but the workers are trash.

The curry chicken is seasoned very well. It’s actually the best curry chicken I’ve had in the Bronx. However… the last few times I was served curry chicken bones. I don’t know if it was the last of it. But to be open 24 hours I would expect to get some meat. The restaurant itself could use an upgrade and deep cleaning.

Aside from long waits when you order, they do not throughly cook their food, it is often times laid out for so long it’ll give you food poison! Currently sick due to poor food handling, and I am not the only one to feel this way. Aside from the poor proportions they give (a small and medium are the same size width wise, but the medium is slightly deeper in depth), the food is either over spicy or blah! Definitely poor on customer service all the time at any time, overall a mess! What used to be decent is now considered the worst
