I was charged $5.00 for a $1.50 ice cream, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If you want to feel robbed, shop at this bodega. They purposely don’t have anything priced, and the employees and owner seem to enjoy overcharging customers at the counter.

Everyone is always friendly & very welcoming. They make sure to review your order to ensure everything was remembered. They always offer an extra side of sauce napkins straws, etc.
Vegetarian options: Many cheese selections, many types of different breads, they also have a large selection of vegetables ? & dressings.
Kid-friendliness: The staff always goes beyond to make the kiddos smile even offer lollipops & they always give out candy for Halloween

The Grubhub delivery person brianely did a horrible job delivering the food. They left it at the front door on the floor my drink was leaking because it was on the side and so was the açaí bowl. NEVER ORDER DELIVERY FROM THEM.

I have only used Riverdale Gourmet Deli once, but I intend to use them almost every day. I was extremely pleased with the prompt service, the Boar's Head Roast Beef sandwich on a roll, the fresh BANANAS , you name it. I am very pleased with my purchases. I am a very satisfied customer..

Bought a sandwich. The price said 3.99. At the counter the guy asks for 5.00. I said how come? Your price says otherwise. His excuse was “prices went up” and tries to tell me about how much a store down the road charges. Either change your price on the board or stop charging whatever you fee like.
Food was delicious loved it and service was great got the mango monster smoothie and the hulk sandwich ??

This place should be monitored by the health inspectors, and the workers should be fired. I walked in expecting a really nice Deli but realized it was a low-budget spot by the way the 2 workers were acting. The guy behind the counter looked high, and the guy making the sandwiches was obviously more interested in talking rather than taking orders. Nothing is arranged properly as far as drinks and items on the shelves and the floor are filthy. There are papers and other cardboard box pieces strewn about. I am sure they are infested with rodents and roaches by the way they maintain this place. I immediately walked out and would find another place to eat. Not the Riverdale, I remember
