It was my favorite place for 8 years but everything is different there. Don’t recommend it

So I ordered this fine Chino Latino infusion.... I felt like you can't go wrong with sesame chicken. This right here! Is soo good! Its something familiar and different for your taste buds... The fried rice particularly stands out... Im looking forward to trying more expectingly good food from here

This is not my first time coming here. But the last couple of times the food has mot been great. They brought out cold rice that was bland and has no taste. The fish and shrimp also had no taste. The old chief must have left because the food is not the same. Won’t be coming back.

I've been coming here for years and it's great every time. It's also a tradition everytime my 95 yr old grandfather comes to visit from Puerto Rico to come here. Great food and great service.
I always enjoy dining on Sundays after church service.

Still one of the best restaurant on Castle Hill Ave. but honestly, the prices have gone up 75% I don’t know why the food is always delicious. Every time I order I’ll make sure I told him no MSG in my food.
Still 5 stars today! Never disappoints and always consistant with quality!

I went there on the word of people I know... horrible! The tostones rellenos were fine but everything else especially the rice (chofan) was not good! Wife had shrimp and crab that was way to salty. The Chofan rice had a wierd smell, taste and texture. I've been to many spanish Chinese restaurants this was the worst. Take a chance if you want but there's many other places with better food. I packed it all up and feed the homeless people.

I visited on 9/5/25 with a friend. My order was not good. (chicharron de pollo & pork fried rice). The chicken is miniature style chicken cutlets/ oversized nuggets. Flat, not cut in to chunks and extremely dry. The fried rice was COLD and dried out, as if they made it in advance, not made fresh when ordered. I told the sever about the cold rice he took the plate and brought it back in 2 minutes with hot rice which was probably microwaved. Server never did a check back, no extra napkins besides the two used for the utensils, no water refills until we asked for the check. Also the worst place to be seated in there is the last 3 - 4 tables by the bathroom, unless you like a urine fragrance smell. Quality and service has definitely declined, just read the comments from other patrons about the restrooms, and they still smell horrible, what's going on? 🤔

Not sure why the rating isn’t higher but the food here was delicious. Their yellow rice and beans were delicious and so were the tostones guacamole (little tostones bowls filled with guacamole and pico de gallo)
