20 years ago this place was one of my favorites, after many years I returned, and I imagine they changed ownersThe chilakiles $17 are super ugly and they give them to you with a MINI PIECE OF MEATI definitely won't return to this place, nor do I recommend it to anyone.

A real Bronx dive restaurant. The tamales were sadly mediocre. The green salsa had no picante. The red were just awful. They use powdered chili I think as opposed to red sauce - giving the tamales a pungent flavor. The Jamaica Aqua Fresca was too sweet. The place is a bit of an eyesore but the staff is nice.

The food is more or less, they put a lot of oil on the tacos and the quesadias and that's not good. Also, today when I went, the lady who serves doesn't clean the tables so they want to put the dishes on you, I told her to clean the tables before putting the dishes. dishes and I made a face because why do they do that if they don't give us free food from the customers they live
The quesadillas here are large handmade corn tortillas flat grilled with bit of oil and delicious cheese or any meat you want. They are phenomenal. Recommend.
