It's a very fun place to go for seafood dinner. A bit pricey but they feed you.

I was part of a group. About 20-25 people. We had a private room. The food was nice tasting. The appetizers, salad, and main course(s) were large enough to feed 2 people at a time. I enjoyed the olive salad and the nice fresh hot sliced bread, veggies and potatoes too! The only negative is that while waiting in the front lobby, I detected a strange smelly odor. And one of the guests saw a rodent running outside the window into a bush. This is NOT to discourage people, but to make management aware! To remind the staff to DISCARD WASTE/FOOD into the outside containers in a secure manner. Overall, I do plan to bring my loved one here in the near future soon because I thought the food was prepared quite well!

Great location, you just have to watch the waitress/waiters they love to overcharge you in the margaritas drinks, you order a margarita, will charge for a margarita supreme, 24.99 when if fact, it would cost you 19.99!! It’s not right!!!

The City Island experience is always good but dining at Sea Shore is great! The view is beautiful right on the water! The service is on point and the food delicious! I always recommend this restaurant to friends and family!

We haven’t been here in over 20 years and we were so disappointed with the food. We were a party of 8 and everyone was disappointed. The bread, giardiniera, olives, cheese & mushrooms were a nice touch. The only issue was the mushrooms had absolutely no flavor; they weren’t pickled or marinated and lacked flavor. I had the Gran-marnier-tini and i don’t think it was made with grand marnier because there was absolutely no orange flavor. I ordered the sesame seared tuna and I asked for medium-rare. That means there should be pink inside…there was no pink, it was completely cooked through and it was overcooked. The menu says it’s in a soy ginger sauce, not true. It came with NO sauce. Menu also says it has julienne vegetables, nope, it was broccoli, onions & peppers. The vegetables were in a soy sauce. Another person ordered scallops & shrimp, shrimp were huge. They lacked flavor, they were gummy and not good at all. The scallops were cooked ok but they lacked flavor. Another person had the filet mignon with shrimp; again, shrimp were huge but he had the same feedback, they lacked flavor, they were gummy and not good at all. The filet was overcooked even though he asked for medium, no pink whatsoever and it lacked flavor. No salt or anything. Someone else had ribs, they were cooked ok & slathered in bbq sauce. Another person in our party had the fish & chips, no flavor on the fries and the fish also lacked seasoning. Our bill was over $700which isn’t bad for 8 people but it’s a shame that we all left disappointed in the food. It just lacked flavor & some items were just overcooked.

I've been looking forward to eating here being i was craving seafood at city island for a while I used to come here all the time until I moved but while visiting I chose this resturant and was very dissapointed 3 people 255 dollar check not worth it at all ,food was not cooked thourally waiter was terrible and busboy didn't speak English so there was no communication it was a waste of money in my opinion owner needs to pay more attention to his customers
