We were heading to the beach and wanted breakfast. We also wanted some sandwiches to go. When we entered, immediately you noticed its a family owned business. We looked at the wall, which is full of memorabilia. We realized the owner was sitting there and also drinking her coffee. The food was a delicious authentic Italian sandwich.

I’ve been living in the area for about 7 years now. And the first 2 years the food was great! Eventually, the food started getting worst. I noticed that if you weren’t a college student. Their customer service would change drastically. It’s almost like they want you to eat what they want. If I ask for crispy bacon and cold bread not toasted. They literally do the oposite. I haven’t order from here now for a year. But here I went today! I asked for my bread not toasted , yet again. Bread was toasted and my 2 year old couldn’t even take a bite out of it. Just ridiculous. The staff does not care what they serve you. Mind you. We are the customer paying for their wages.
Absolutely horrible! Should remove bagels from there awning! Selling 4 different kinds kd bagels and 3 different kinds of shmeers doesnt not quantify one as a legitimate bagel place in NYC. College kids keep it in business.
