Sobro Garden is amazing, and it’s only a block away from us! My husband and I order from here all the time, and honestly, everything is so good. Prices are pretty solid too.

We’ve also gotten catering from them for a few small gatherings, and it’s always been a hit—our guests love it. The food is always on point.

So glad they opened up in the neighborhood! If they keep feeding us this well, we’re definitely going to gain a few pounds, haha. Totally worth it though.

It's an amazing, mature sexy spot. They are great for setting a mood and for private parties.
I had my dad's repass there, and they were the best to me and my family.
They also have shows there.

The restaurant is beautiful. Upon entering everything looked beautiful. The service was terrible. We asked the manager if we could sit at the back table which was unoccupied for our party. With an attitude he said no and did not accommodate us to a table that was available. Apparently that table was reserved for his personal drink that evening.

At that point I was going to leave but my party insisted in staying. The service was equally poor and delayed. They are under staffed. The manager should have helped his team, instead he stood around and watched them become overwhelmed and frustrated. This led to a decrease in the quality of service we received. The drinks were watered down even when I asked for a double. There was very little alcohol in my 16 to 20 dollar drinks. I gave up after 3.

The best part was the food and the DJ. My brown dollars matter. I can't help but feel like we received subpar service from the manager due to being women of color.

I NEED The Bronx to come out and support this restaurant. The taste of the food here HITS!
Where do I start? The Mojo de Ajo (garlic in oil with other flavors), it was EXACTLY the taste I wanted. It tasted just like my grandmothers. The Arroz con Gandules, just like my step-mothers, flavorful and light. The Pernil....just heavenly. Seasoned really, really well. In my opinion this meal was best complimented with Tostones just because, why not HAHAHA The atmosphere was amazing. The set up and the lights really made this a nice date night atmosphere. It also has a great hangout atmosphere to chill with friends. It's a very chill, mellow vibe. Our waitress, Nayeli, was so attentive. She always came by exactly when we needed something. It was as if she was reading our mind. We felt personal attention and appreciated every moment. Even the owner themself came over to our table, introduced themself, and had us try a special dish that was not on the menu. The desert did not make it home HAHA. Ohh and the drinks were amazing. Please get the Wepa. It will have you scream WEEEEPPPPPAAAAAA This place will be visited by my husband and I for our next date night, and with my friends for happy hour/girls night.

I recently had the pleasure of a date night at Sobro Gardens, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance is truly one of a kind – surrounded by beautiful flowers and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The food was out of this world; every bite tasted homemade, like a skilled chef with old family recipes was preparing each dish just for us.

This is not your typical spot in the Bronx; it stands out with authentic flavors that are hard to find anywhere else. The waitress Nayeli made it a great experience.Even the owner took time to personally greet each table, making sure we all felt welcome and cared for. I can't wait to go back and bring friends along for a group night. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, a warm vibe, and exceptional service, Sobro Gardens is it!

Jalene (I’m sorry if I’m misspelling!) and Jimmy were so incredible on a random Wednesday they literally pulled us in from the street and made us feel like family. You can tell they are so proud of the work and it makes me want to come every day!

I was thrilled to see this place trending on my social media feeds! As a passionate supporter of local eateries, especially in the South Bronx, I couldn't wait to check it out after seeing a post from Bronxnative. Being from the South Bronx, I'm always on the lookout for great food!

Here's my candid review: the ambiance is fantastic! It's in the newly revamped space where "Made in PR" used to be, and the makeover is impressive. Hats off to the owners for the relaunch! (I'm assuming it's the same owner since the dishware looked a bit worn, which made me wonder how long the restaurant has been open. The condiment bottles were nearly empty--did this place just open a few days or weeks ago? I thought "Made in PR" had been closed for over a year. Are they using items from the previous location?)

I ordered a coquito-martini, eagerly anticipating it... until I noticed a hair floating on top of my drink. That really put a damper on my experience. In an almost empty restaurant, getting the server's attention proved challenging; I had to raise my hand several times before finally catching someone's eye. The bartender remade my drink and delivered it without an apology, which was a letdown.

Despite the shaky start, I held out hope for the food. And I'm glad I did! My churrasco and morro de habichuelas were incredible--perfectly cooked to medium-rare and juicy! The replacement drink was also quite good. So while there were some bumps along the way, the food definitely saved the day!
