Two friends and I went for dinner where we sat waiting for 15 minutes at our table before someone coming to take our order. When attempting to order I wanted to make a substitution in which the waiter told me I could not. When asked to inform me about the side of the dish she could not tell me what the side was or describe the dish is any detail and said she never had it and doesn’t know how it taste. When asked why I could not change it she said that’s just the rule. When I asked to speak to the manager she replied he will say the same thing. When the manager came he also stated that I could not make any changes but he would allow me to sample and I could get an additional side if I didn’t like it. I did not like the sample so o requested to leave it off the plate and just like the short rib and would purchase a side of mashed potatoes he said no and that I could look at the menu for something else. I told him it made no sense to deny my request if I was willing to pay additional charges and he said it would be fine. He then called the waiter to complain about me which was over heard by one of my friends leaving the restroom. Extremely unprofessional and not accommodating at all.

I came with my family on Tuesday and it was a bit busy, but the food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. The waitresses Jocelyn and Catherine were very attentive at all times, and the manager, John, was very nice and helpful to everyone. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. A hidden gem in the Bronx.

I have been coming to this place for the better part of 3 years and, for the most part, it’s been decent for this part of the Bronx. Unfortunately, the experience slowly been slowly diminishing. The bartenders are inattentive and if you get sat upstairs, good luck seeing your waiter again.
My last experience here was less than ideal. We were told one thing by one waiter and when the bill arrived it was not what was discussed. The initial waiter had an “emergency” and left before we could get our check and clarify any issue. Even with the error being on THEIR end, they would not budge and give the us, the customers, the benefit of the doubt. I simply kept getting done “there’s nothing we can do.” No additional support was offered on the matter. No surprise business has not been going well these days.
You should note that there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to all bills.

after being seated waited almost 20 minutes before being asked what my order was then they give us the wings and sliders no napkins no plates were literally eating and putting bones on the same plate the food came in and it’s just not for me first and last visit to this establishment only came here because my friend swore it was such a great place and it was far from that
