Wanted some soul food and I was on my way to another spot, but decided to look up something closer and this was it first time here it’s close to where I live. I went in with my dad and my daughter and ordered some food. My dad got beef ribs, mac & cheese rice and he loved it. I got my son barbecue chicken, mac & cheese and yams and he loves it. I got myself oxtails mac & cheese with cabbage and I loved it. My dad also got a side order of collard greens, cabbage, and some oxtails and he loved all of that as well. I am definitely going back to try the turkey wings, Rice and peas and collard greens and probably some banana pudding. I’m not sure if it was pricey or not because my dad paid for it!! love him so much 🤗, but I was not disappointed and I am happy I changed my mind and went to This spot. This is some of the best outside food I had in a long time. Service was great. It was clean as well!!

My daughter and I wanted soul food. Their selection was small and you had to have fried chicken to order🤔. Their yams were good, but the BBQ chicken was a little dry and I felt was overpriced as it didn't reflect the online price. The server was nice.

You must try this place!!!!! From the friendly customer service down to the food is 100/10. My boyfriend order the jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and sweet yams and it was absolutely delicious! I had the oxtails with Mac and cheese and yams and when i tell you it was hitting the spot we were basically eating with our eyes closed. The food was so flavorful, and you can taste the love it was prepared. And for dessert we had the last of the banana puddling and i am so happy i did! A MUST TRY! You will not regret eating here! The portions are also huge.

It is pricey (at least on grubhub) but from beginning of ordering everything was great. Employee made effort to call me to let me know they were out of a side I ordered and was able to replace. Food arrived quickly. Everything exceeded my expectations. One of the best soul food spots I’ve found in NYC. Got the fried chicken, whiting fish, yams, mac and cheese, potato salad, collard greens and half/half iced tea lemonade. Well cooked and seasoned, everything tasted fresh. I recommend and will definitely order again. 10/10 satisfactory
