I’ve been a regular customer at this restaurant in Texas, but today’s experience was disappointing. They didn’t provide any tissues, and the sandwich lacked the sauce that I usually receive. I hope they improve their service in the future.

Never have a bad experience at this place as I’ve been going here for years. Today marks the first and hopefully last bad experience. Cashier was busy doing uber orders, line was getting long, he had to call the cook to come take orders for a little then orders were taken. At this point as I’m waiting it’s been like 10 minutes. My order is called out, I was going to go grab it, and these 2 guys heard wrong and go to get the order, they open it and left. I then notify the cashier and he was very rude about it, giving me attitude, saying “I called out your order and you didn’t come” what did you want me to do? Snatch it back? Then the cashier said it would be a 5 minute wait. I waited and got my food. At least it was fresh. It’s unfortunate because this is one of my favorite places. The cashier that I usually get is always so kind, but unfortunately I got the rude one today.

I ordered food from Texas Chicken and Burger on Westchester Avenue through their app, expecting it to be ready when I arrived. Even after waiting 15–20 minutes, my order still wasn’t prepared. Meanwhile, I noticed other customers who ordered in-store got their food before me. On top of that, I saw an employee making my food without wearing gloves, which is extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. This was a very disappointing experience, and it makes me question the point of using the app if orders are not prioritized. Honestly, I don’t want to go back after what I saw.

I ordered through Uber Eats. They didn’t pack the sauce and my soda was warm… I’m talking off-the-shelf warm. Normally, I wouldn’t complain about this but this has happened MULTIPLE times. I like their biscuits, which is why I keep ordering from them, but it’s clear that they just don’t care when they’re packing food for deliveries. Didn’t even get any napkins. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Today is Thursday 7/31/2025 I ordered from this restaurant a couple of hours ago and I got 3 pieces of chicken came with a biscuit,one fish sandwich that was BOGO and a chicken sandwich,the chicken sandwich was so nasty it tasted bitter,sour a strange taste and the chicken was like rubber everything else was delicious no complaints on that, I'm wondering if I can get my money back for the chicken sandwich that went to the trash because that chicken sandwich was for my granddaughter she was looking forward to eating that.

Their pricing is good. The chicken is crispy on one occasion they mixed the spicy with regulars. Aside from that, I'm happy going to get a quick bite with my little girl

Today is June 18 2025. Around 9.20 pm I ordered 2 order 4 for 5. The guy who was in the front he didn’t gave me biscuit in the box. Even he didn’t tell me nothing. I checked the box I saw it’s missing. I tell him he show me his attitude and tell me we don’t have it. I said why you didn’t tell me that time. He is like I give you 2 pieces chicken instead of 2 biscuits. I come back and check he put only 1 chicken. The bad park is he show me his attitude and said something in his language. And ‘’He is waiting me there for long time. I saw people are ordering after me but he gave them food before me’’.

Tex’s Chicken Burgers is hands down the best chicken in town. This place is my go to spot for a chicken burger, always fresh, crispy and packed with flavor. I always get the 4 for $5 deal, it’s unbeatable and the best value around. If you haven’t tried it yet you’re seriously missing out.
