Great vibe, and great ladies.

Highly recommend this book store. I tried to upload the video of the inside. The inside is nice, beautiful, with a mix of culture and Bronx flavor. It makes you feel connected which makes this a unique book shop. It’s a chilled spot where you can read and purchase books. The environment is calm. Employees are nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. It brings out the beauty of The Bronx. Rich of culture and history. This is definitely a spot to check out.

this place was so beautiful and welcoming, thankyou to the lovely Kim behind the bar and the other staff member (I didn’t get your name!) ❤️

The employees were really helpful and patient with me and my impulsive book buying, which I really appreciate! The bar was lively and looked like a fun place to have a book club meeting. I loved the selections of books, especially all the self-care books focusing on different communities, and the comic section that was super diverse as well. Definitely stop in and see them!

Black owned bookstore in the Bronx with a wine bar, ample seating, and access to WiFi. We were there for a little bit working on some stuff. They have a no-spill policy to all book browsing cannot happy near the wine bar and if you want to read them & eat/drink, books must be purchased first. The playlist that they have will legit make you want to stay there all night!

Great date night spot, whether romantic or with friends. The service was good. The temperature was slightly challenging as there were moments when it was too warm, but it was the first warm day of the season!

Definitely looking forward to returning & participating in some events.

I heard good things about The Lit Bar. I contacted The Lit Bar to host a book signing. The staff I spoke to gave me good advice on how to have my published book on shelves for purchase at The Lit Bar. She asked me for information about Ingram, and then she directed me to fill out a submission form online. A few friends and I are planning to visit the Lit Bar soon. Hope to be recognized.😇

The Lit Bar…well the Bronx went from Burning(if you know you know) to Hip-Hop(for the People that don’t know) and now to the Lit Bar/Libro.fm. Have had nothing but GREATNESS/GREAT Experiences from The Lit Bar and am looking forward to the Future with more from La hermosa y encantadora Noëlle Santos, Proprietress/Owner, Bronx native and Resident and the Lit Bar, LIBRO.FM Group as well as what more New York is going to bring to the USA Union and the World as we know it Today. As for Barnes and Noble(who created their Own Competition), Audible, Amazon, Wiley, Books-A-Million, and others, it Appears you have Competition that does Not Plan on going away. Wide selection of books you wouldn’t find just anywhere, I especially love the poetry section

This place is a great spot to get some books and a glass of wine. It is the only book store in the Bronx, so definitely give it a visit when you are there! The employees were very helpful with any questions.

Such a quant and vibrant bookstore. Awesome book selection. & The wine bar adds an extra vibes to the establishment.

Greta store and book variety, but the cashier with short hair was rude and not that friendly.

What an amazing concept. I love that it is owned by a woman who stepped up to make books available for her neighborhood. I read the recent bad reviews about the book club and I say to the owner, keep your chin up. Those women ight have had one bad experience but for three to go and try and tank you and your achievements is absurd. Why would they call three times to check about reservations? Seems like they were unclear and I’m confused as why. What are the odds that they called three times and got three wrong responses? As far as the drama over a pregnant woman? The owner let you use the restroom? I wasn’t there (obviously) but trying to tank a business over a misunderstanding seems a bit much, no? Just my two cents.
We need more books and wine and a bit more grace for other people.
