When a restaurant replies to your side note on uberEats saying “they can’t put shito on the side of your fried rice” then they clearly missing the concept of business and a customer.

They act like the food is not for selling. So rude to the consumers, and they don’t want to give you the amount you order?!! (So dumb) what’s the point of the business then. On top of that my meat pie came back uncooked, I wish I can add a picture to this.

I buy food here all the time. When I tell you….chef kiss!!! I always order the jollof rice with fish. I travel where ever am at to get this food because I tried numerous place and it ain’t it!!

I’ve given The Point African Restaurant multiple chances, but every visit has been disappointing. The server is consistently rude and disrespectful. This dude lacks MANNERS. There is absolutely no sense of customer service, no greeting, no courtesy, just attitude and frustration directed at paying customers. He makes it seem like you are begging him for free food.
On top of that, hygiene is clearly not a priority. The server handles food without gloves, which is very concerning. It’s uncomfortable and makes you question how clean things are behind the scenes.
I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend it to others. I know the server/partial owner is going to read and reply to this. The massage to you is, I hope you change your ways.

Their food doesn't taste good like it used to be. The Waache and stew is nothing to talk about and the stew is too much maggie. The meatpie is also tasteless. Waste of my money

The Point restaurant have always been me and my sister's favorite place to buy food but the food we bought recently (April 23rd, 2025) was spoiled because it had this slimy texture and it smelled so bad. Please you guys did not do well at all. Our money, just gone like that. How could you guys 😮‍💨? Why? 😢😢😥 very disappointing.

The food is definitely great, the server man is very rude and lack customer service, The owner needs really train him, I don’t know if volunteers or paid staff, but his attitude sinks. Based on past reviews it seems like they haven’t really addressed his behavior issues.

I will update to 5 or downgrade later after I have sampled all their foods. So far I have done with fufu, Waakye, jollof, Banku and okro, fish, Turkey tail, kebab, bofrote, meatpie and akara.
These are all 4 star quality. I usually don't drink my soup left-over after my meal from all other places I have visited but this place was on point. I would have asked for extra light soup if not for my shyness

Recommended dishes: Fried Rice, Meat Pie, Soup, Half Jollof Half Fried Rice

This place is decent but the workers DONT wear gloves and that’s bad because they handle food. Either you hire someone to accept money or have gloves. It’s a health hazard. Bro be scratching his face and talking all over the food.
