I usually go into the city for pancakes or make my own because I’m very particular, but we decided to give this place a try. The cafe itself is cute and the staff is friendly, but the food and value were a major letdown.
I got the Pancake Deluxe and my boyfriend got one of their other Breakfast Platters. The service was disorganized; we had to get up to ask for our bacon and fruit because they were forgotten. The pancakes were very plain and soft, similar to fast-food quality. My boyfriend isn’t a picky eater at all, and even he wasn't impressed. He actually said we would have been better off just finding a local diner and for the price we paid, I completely agree.
Maybe the drinks or other menu items are better, but the breakfast isn't worth it. Plus, the ventilation is poor; I left smelling like heavy cooking oil from head to toe. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

The Way Cafe is a hidden gem! The food and drinks are amazing! Everything is made fresh and to order. The pastries are out of this world and are made on the premises. The staff are so kind and the customer service is fantastic! I highly recommend this coffee shop.
I stopped by randomly on my way home, this cafe is really cute. You get a free pastry for being a first time costumer. I ordered the protein açaí bowl and a tea. It was really delicious. The staff is so friendly. And they sell books and journals as well which was super cool. Will be coming back.

Always such a great experience. The team is super friendly. Jo Lynn at the counter is always the sweetest & so is the rest of the team. The food is delicious. I always usually get the chipotle egg sandwich with turkey. All honestly this is probably one of the best cafes in the Bronx. The coffee definitely better than most.
