I ordered a cheese pastelito and the cheese was GREEN. I could have gotten so sick. They didn’t offer a refund. Please be careful before eating here.

I went in to get lunch and the lady at the counter did not have any patience. She did not serve me a good portion of food and when I asked for some extra she said it would be an extra $6 dollars for a extra spoon of food. She threw my change in cash on the counter for me to pick up and acted like she was tolerating me during my entire time there. I got pollo guisado and rice mixed with beans. The chicken was raw in the center but the rice with beans was good. I truly believe that people in the business of serving food to others, should do it from the heart and not just to make money and force attitudes on others.

I ordered “ The Mofonquitos mixtos” and was highly disappointed. They did a plátanos quesadilla instead loading the mofonguitos with cheese over it which was not what I was expecting because in reality it doesn’t go with the dish. I ordered tostones rellenos also with cheese on top. I spent with tip and all forty dollars. Would I order it again? NEVER!

Nasty rude staff. Not enough food to fulfill my order. Awful place I wouldn't recommend to anyone no matter what the food is like

they have a special advertising $5.99 for lunch 11AM to 3PM and she charged me $9 i had already paid when i realized i was not charged the advertised price, mind you it was 11:57AM so I came at like lunchtime peak lol… i’m not going to stay and argue with anyone over three dollars… read this review instead. the food was just OK… grainy rice and the sweet plantains were all wrong, undercooked! don’t have posters advertising $5.99 lunch specials all over the business just to up-charge it. thats called false advertising!

The food is not very good, the abichuela tasted of pure powdered seasoning, they were salty and the baked chicken was old and dry like beef jerky and the flan was old too, the employees look bored.

don’t get me wrong this place has very and I mean very good food and it’s my go to spot whenever I’m in the mood for some Spanish food but whenever I go into this place they are never welcoming, always have a look on there face never says thank you or your welcome. All I’m saying is if you’re going to work for a small business in the Bronx at least be nice to your customers.

Brand new spot in the neighborhood, and oh such a welcomed one. Located between Holland and Wallace Aves, just across from Key Food, it's a small family run spot that's big on personality. But let's get to the main character of every Yelp review....the food. First, it smells amazing. I'm actually writing this as my meal sits untouched next to me. Secondly, the food is really good, IMHO and that of my family. They boast an all-day lunch special, accept credit cards, they cater, fresh juice and they'll help you practice your conversational Spanish. I've been here 3 times in 9 days. I ordered yellow peas and rice and maduro the first time. And a few days ago, as well as today, I ordered the yellow rice, pernil and maduro I recommend a visit. Most people order to go, but there is a small seated area for 3. Now, if you'd excuse mean....I'd like to begin my meal
