Had the pleasure of dining here over the weekend. Lets start with the ambiance, perfectly lit warm and inviting. The service was impeccable from the host to our server everyone knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Now to the food, arguably some of the best Oaxacan cuisine I have tasted outside of Mexico. The crudo was so fresh and vibrant the short rib memela was one of the best dishes I have had in a very long time. Everything was fresh and tasty. Thanks to everyone who made this meal such an amazing experience. Truly looking forward to my next visit!!!

By far one of the best restaurants in the Bronx. They offer delicious authentic Mexican food. The service is attentive and will share more information about each dish. Also, the mezcal selection and cocktails are excellent.
Had a lovely time at Tobala. Outstanding service and lovely decor. The best dishes were Michelin worthy. Some didn’t quite hit the mark as much. But overall, a depth of flavor and loving attention to detail make this place worth a visit, despite the high prices.
