They do mandatory coat check & lost more than 10 coats ... club closed at 4 .. didn’t leave coat check til 6 & I was VIP in a section ... my coat was 1200 see you guys in small claims court anything over 1000 is a felony and again it was mandatory.

Decided to try this decently rated place for drinks and dancing in the bronx area. My two cousins and I were immediately told we weren't recommended to come in because it's "African American night" (8/17/19). We asked the bouncer what that meant and he repeated "you guys can come in but it's different kind of music you're not used to". For discretion we're mexican. I told the bouncer we took an uber there because we wanted to be there to drink and dance, not cause any problems. He then for a third time said "it's African American night". After getting patted down we decided to leave as we definitely felt like we weren't welcome and felt unsafe. We won't ever come back here and certainly hope anyone, regardless of skin color, won't be treated the same way. First and hopefully last experience of racism at Tropicana Bronx.

They charge u for everything, but need people to be here for it to be lit...they got a strict dress code but it's in the hood, $20 after 12 for ladies not wearing heels.& mandatory $5 coat check and extra for sweaters â€â™€ï¸ Get it together please!

Receiced an email for an event (never signed up) on every Friday event with Event Brice (mistook it for Event Brite, but still decided to try it out). Said it would be open from 11pm-4am; got there at like 12:30 and the gates were completely closed. Wasted cab money for nothing.

Very disappointed, their staff lie to the customer offering famous singers or rappers presentation but who really perform is new singers.. nothing against the new singers.. just more honesty would be appreciated. The DJ is great..

The place is very nice once you get inside. The staff is very rude and do not know how to manage the crowd. Drinks are average, and bottle service is expensive. I was thinking about celebrating my birthday this year there, thank goodness I went there before i made any reservations.
