My daughter got my birthday cake on August 2025 from Valencia bakery with a puertorican theme and it didn't disappoint at all it had chocolate filling it was delicious 😋 I been eating Valencia cakes since I was a child that's all they had back in the days brings back so many memories thanks Valencia it was my 61st birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 and hopefully more blessings to come.

I was very disappointed with the Benito slice after having had the bad bunny cake a couple of months ago. The description describes buttercream, when I received the order it was whipped cream. Who knew Valencia was going to transition to bland icing. On top of of it I ordered slices to take to Florida to a person that has been eating Valencia cake all her life. Not carrying whip cream cake in this hot weather. Did not make it happen.

Okay so my daughter turned 14 and we got her a pink heart shaped cake. It was beautiful and they made the cake for me last minute and the service was great! Now the day of the party we serve the cake and no one eats it not even my 14 year old daughter who was so excited about her cake. The cake was extremely dry and had no flavor. I paid well over $150 for a cake I had to literally throw in the trash. A friend told me that this place was amazing and even she said that she was confused because she never had a bad cake from them. I’m pretty disappointed and felt bad for my daughter and her friends. Like I said the cake was beautiful just nasty.
So sad I came all the way from jersey for a yellow cake with moose filling I called twice to confirm they had it drove an hour to get my mothers birthday cake for her to tell me when I arrived I had to order a day in advance for that cake and she only had chocolate moose on hand🥲🥲 like omgggg and I couldn’t go home empty handed. Spent $45 for a cake we didn’t even like my mom doesn't even like it I’m so sad

Valencia cakes are unique with a twist of nostalgia for Nuyoricans. The Benito Cake (Strawberry Cream) was delicious although custard is my favorite filling.
Also try their Guava Pastelitos!!! They’re absolutely delicious!
