Came here 9/30 after the Red Sox Yankees game. The first 70% of my time here was good, but the last 30% ruined everything about this place. First time here, definitely the last time here. First off, saw some creepy dude with a backpack and Oakley shades harass and try to roofie women. Second, the two female bartenders are the rudest women I have ever met in my life and believe the clientele are beneath them.
At the end of the night, when my girlfriend needed to use the bathroom, the bouncer got the key to open it and took it back even though you’re supposed to give it to the person in the bathroom. This led to one of the female bartenders coming to the bathroom and opening it with the key believing it was vacant. Despite seeing someone was in there, the bartender opened the door wide open and exposed my girlfriend for everyone to see. The first thing the bartender did was yell at me that it was my girlfriend’s fault she didn’t have the key, even though she asked for it and it was her coworker who refused to give it to her. When my girlfriend confronted her and the other bartender, they continued to blame my girlfriend for the situation. All of this could’ve been avoided if they apologized for the incident, instead the bartender exposed my girlfriend in the bathroom for all to see, blamed her for what happened, acted like she was a victim, laughed at her with the other bartender, a short woman with dyed blonde hair, who repeatedly called my girlfriend ugly and said, in Spanish, something to the extent of “no one wants to see your ugly girlfriend” or “I dont want to see your ugly girlfriend”. My girlfriend isn’t ugly, but regardless what kind of way is that to speak about a customer, much less another person, and what kind of establishment would hire people like this? One I won’t be coming back to.

There was a manager and a guy who looked like he owned it. The owner for the most part wanted nothing to do with the situation and kept asking why we were making a big deal of their employees blatant disrespect and humiliation for my girlfriend, saying “at least it wasn’t a guy” who opened the door on her, as if that makes the disrespect and invasion of her privacy less than what it was. Only after explaining over and over, after which we were cut off multiple times, did he understand the situation.
As a Dominican, it makes me sick to see the flag displayed with pride, because this place is a disgrace to it.

If you are drinking here, please count what are you drink cause they over charge. The manager was super rude and very supportive to the bar tenders. So count your drinks. They overcharge, and tips are included as well.

The reason for the one star review is because we were never told when paying with a card that a 12.4% tax was placed which we were never informed of, when we asked the waitress why didn’t she mention it she said she thought we knew. Mind you she never told us, this was our first time visiting and we are from out of town. If we were told from the beginning then that wouldn’t have been an issue but no one told us absolutely anything until after we gave the card and they charged the extra tax. We ended with a $95 being $106.76 no gratuity included and expected one as well.

Vaga Alta Sports Bar near Yankee Stadium is a solid spot to hang out before or after a game. I stopped by and grabbed a Stella—served in a clean, cold glass, which I appreciated. The prices are decent, though I didn’t explore much beyond the beer. The menu’s got a ton of options if you’re hungry. The bartendress was gorgeous and super friendly, which made the vibe even better. With at least a dozen TVs showing different sports, it’s a great place to catch some action. Four stars—definitely a nice holdover spot!

Ordered a chicken Cesar salad and threw the whole salad away. The chef cut up the chicken into small pieces, over cooked the chicken and it tasted bad. 16 dollars wasted

Decent atmosphere but beware the $20 drink minimum if going before a game. They don't advertise this at all and don't have a functioning ATM
