Been coming here for the last 15 years, very nostalgic to me! I can’t ever leave NYC without stopping here before I head back home to Philly! Always good vibes, great oldskool pizza, great oldskool vibes, and hands down one of my favorite pizzerias hands down!
I am 73years old and grew up around the corner on stratford avenue. Yankees Pizza is very first pizza I ever had when it opened around 1960. Pizza was 10-15 cents a slice. For 50 cents 2 slices and a soda. It was great!
I grew up on Boynton Avenue and my parents would take me here to get pizza. They still have the arcades from when I was a kid. The pizza is just as delicious as before. Some people hate on this place because they are envious but as big pun used say..jealous ones still envy
