They tried to gaslight me on the prices, I had to take a photo of the item and the price to show it to them to get them to relent. They're also rude in general, like you're ruining their day by buying stuff.

My check had 15% TAX added to it. Not gratitude for the group, the TAX. Last time we checked Bronx has 8.88% TAX. It’s illegal. Then they increased our check to additional 4% for using a credit card instead of cash (without a warning!) that goes against their contract with the bank. Food was great, but I don’t like my burger with a side of “lied to”. If you want customers to pay more, raise your prices on the menu! It’s sad I have to report about a family owned local business, but they left me no choice.

Ugh I feel so bad writing this because the people were so kind & fun to talk to & the service was wonderful. The shop looked clean & we got 2 sandwiches to go. They tasted great but 30 minutes later I got the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had. A couple hours later my friend also got it too. Unfortunate but even a day after we both still feel terrible. Probably just some cross contamination that can be easily fixed… just wanted to write this for them to know when cleaning so no one else gets it either. Wishing them all the best

After growing up in this neighborhood and moving away to live in the country, coming back has been a shock—especially when it comes to the prices. Within just two years, they've increased more than fivefold. Paying $13 for a sandwich and fries or worst the burger it was $5 now is $10!!! feels outrageous, even reminiscent of gentrified areas like Brooklyn or the city, but this is still the same neighborhood I remember ghetto as hell. While the place is still kept clean around the clock, it's no longer the bargain it used to be. Also I’ve notice they are commenting and hearting the good comments and not acknowledging any of the bad reviews and comment it’s not very professional or trying to fix the issue.

They need to pay attention when taking food orders and ringing up items employees need to stay off phones and stop having conversations while cooking that's gross and unsanitary and ringing up items over charging and then arguing with customers saying there is a no refund policy even if they over charge

Depends on when you go messed up sandwich before and caught a attitude didn’t feel safe bringing it back now overpriced for a damn welches drink $3.10 because I “used debit” after saying the drink was $2.50.
