J&G Deli and Market

This past Friday night my friend went to this deli to get sandwiches. I ordered an eggplant Parmesan sandwich what they gave him they should be ashamed of themselves. I asked for extra sauce. I really think they put VA tomato juice in a container. I give them a zero

WOW! I have not been in the area for some time but was today and needed coffee and lunch after a sad morning at a friend's funeral. Thought! Oh yea- that good deli in Chester Hts! Well - much to my surprise new owner and better than ever! The MOST delicious caprese sandwich I have EVER had, good coffee and the most delightful fellow taking care of me. I guess it was the wonderful proprietor who could not have been more delightful or welcoming. I wanted to go back in after having half my sandwich to tell him WOW and find out what the balsamic he used was. He also treated me to a chocolate cookie that was yummy - I was so tired I didn't go but made a point of noting the name so I could call and/or write a review! And I see some friends of mine are also in agreement, Nick DiNardo! Molto Bello! YUMMM!!!

Every time we are in NY, we stop by and get a wedge. Sometimes we have breakfast there.

The food itself is good but the customer service is terrible. You call in and they tell you 20 min, you get there a half hour later only to find they haven’t even started making your order, and it wasn’t even busy. They didn’t apologize, they just played it off and said “he’s just finishing up your order. Meanwhile I was in the store for over 29 minutes There is never anyone at the register you always have to walk around the store to find someone to ring you up, and in the winter it’s freezing cold inside the store..for the prices they charge they should be able to afford to heat the place

J&G Deli is hands down the best Italian deli in the area! The place is spotless, the food is always fresh, and the service is top-notch. Huge shout out to Fausto, Hector, and the entire team—they always make you feel welcome. Their chicken cutlets are amazing, and all the Italian specialties are authentic and delicious. If you're looking for quality food and great service, this is the place to go!
