The service is excellent friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the burgers are especially top notch. It's also a great place to relax with a drink, whether you're stopping in for a casual night out or grabbing a meal with friends. Definitely worth a visit!

We visited The Tav-ery for the third time recently — and sadly, for the third time, we left dissatisfied. They want to project a high-end atmosphere, but the food speaks of a locale far less glamorous than they intend. The prices are outrageously high, yet neither the food nor the presentation justify them.
My partner ordered the mahi-mahi tacos, but they literally fell apart — the moment she lifted them off the plate they came undone in her hand. I ordered the “short rib,” only to be served a beef chuck stew in its disguise. It was so drenched in an overly sweet sauce that it sent my eyes and stomach into a loop of disgust. The presentation overall was sloppy, colors off, plating messy, altogether borderline grotesque.
After three visits, the inconsistency and over-promise make this place not worth the premium they demand. Frankly, the owner should consider hiring a chef who understands flavor balance, proper presentation and who knows the difference between meat cuts; e.g. short rib vs beef chuck.

The place is nice but I was treated like the food was free and others got attended to faster even thought I was the first one there then the umbrella flew on top on my shoulder almost hit my face and they didn’t even notice smh 🤦♀️

The food was bland and flavorless but the service was worse. I asked to sit in the sun and the staff opened the umbrella on a table next to me blocking the sun. Every other outdoor table was empty and only 1 other outdoor guest arrived as I ate…in the shade… because the waiter said the umbrellas had to stay open for other potential customers. I was not treated with courtesy the food was not seasoned well.

The Tav’ery has a warm and welcoming vibe with friendly staff. For food- highly recommend the pretzel bites, crab cake, and Cobb salad. The flatbread was just okay, but everything else hit the mark. Bonus points for the outdoor seating option, which is always a plus. A great neighborhood spot to relax and enjoy a casual meal.

I was not impressed with the fish and chips. The fish was barely there. My plate consisted of mostly fried batter. I later questioned if it was even codfish! The fish was extremely light, thin and tastless, almost to the likeness of flounder.
The service was great. Very friendly and welcoming establishment.
The fried potatoes and side of warm bread were very good, but I certainly would not return just for that.

Went for mother's Day brunch, great atmosphere & service but food was mediocre for the price - $14 for 2 breakfast tacos made from eggs from a carton... emblematic of this day & age

The food was very good , the service excellent. The atmosphere of eating outdoor was helped from a nice sunny day. To make the experience even better was to know they are animals lovers( they have water bowel in front their door) and they are participating at tomorrow fundraiser event for Best Bullies Rescue
Great friendly atmosphere. Lovely space and the best dirty martini I ever had in my life( and I had a few lol). The best part about the place was Fran and I hope I write her name correctly. Her personal approach towards customers makes you feel that you are taken care of and that you are a regular. Definitely going back!
What a great Palm Sunday! 10 of had a reservation for 1:00. The food, the service, everything about the place was excellent. I had the codfish with veggies (no carbs for me). Delicious! One in our group needed a gluten free meal. Not a problem. . . . I will certainty come back. I'd give this restaurant 10 stars if that were possible!
The atmosphere is great. The drinks are really good. The flatbread pizza with the arugula is way too hard and too much arugula. The tuna tartar was subpar. Wasn't as minced as expected. The Pat Lefrieda burger was the best thing, very fresh, very tasty.
