Great place open up closed to long

This place is absolutely one of the coolest place to eat in the neighborhood. Anytime I come there I am so satisfied. They keep their high level service and the highest level of food they give. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Sadly, after being a loyal customer for the last 10 years, I just can’t take it anymore. Food portions way smaller. Quality just isn’t there. The place has never been fixed properly (I’ve been looking at the same holes in the wall for years). The new owner obviously has no people skills Or business savvy... ( apparently his charm and personality cost him most of the crew that has been there the last few years, as well as his entire kitchen staff). It’s a shame because it was a nice local place. Amazing how this tool managed to run it into the ground in so short a time. I wish there was a “corporate” entity to complain to so they could get this guy gone. Oh well. I’ll just spend my money elsewhere. And with so many choices in the area, it won’t be difficult. RIP Brookhaven Ground Round.

My wife and I usually come into the ground round a couple times a month. The waitress’ work so hard, such as the tall blonde girl, blue eyes who seems like she holds the place together and there is another one with black hair and blue eyes who is very accommodating to us, just didn’t catch their names. The food is good but the service these two servers give is just astronomical. It’s so hard to come by people who care about their jobs as a waitress and go above and beyond and these two girls do. We rarely go anywhere else because we want good service like these girls give. Yes the place is a little run down but it takes time to fix the building which we understand being from the 1800’s. I highly recommend the Ground Round.

Blonde waitress was polite and nice, didnt see her enough because they had her doing 2 rooms. Food was great, except for the old fries and burnt bread in french onion. Wings and ribs were nice, juicy and fresh. Main entree took literally almost an hour to come out in parts. 3 star for being polite and more than half the food was great.

Called in an order for about 6 people when we got there they completely forgot some food, and messed up the order. we had to wait around forever for them to correct it. When we got the correct food we went back to work. We sat down and ate the food was completely cold, completely dry, dressing was missing on 4 out of the 6 orders. Ordered 2 burgers that were missing some of the things that should be on. Very Disappointed. I work right around the corner and this time of year we are going to be ordering out alot. Will not be going back, and will tell others not to go here as well. Lost a lifelong costumer, as well as all friends and family.

I only made this account to just brag about this amazing waitress. These days it’s so hard to get decent/ good service. We understand the place is being renovated, it’s an old building so it’s hard to keep up with. The food is very good. We had a server named Julie, she is absolutely amazing. Seems like she keeps the place together. She is very accommodating, fast and on top of everything. She is very sweet and has the best personality as well. We have only been here a handful of times SO FAR, but i insist you request her. Go Ground Round!
