“Had a bad cold and it was a rainy Monday so I was grateful to find Brook House open. Ordered a chicken caesar salad to take home and the staff kindly threw in some potato/leek soup to help cure me. All delicious and the kindness will not be forgotten.”

“Painter's does a great job decorating for the season & supporting the community. When you visit the staff is attentive & knowledgeable. We often hang at the bar for drinks and apps unless we have the fam with us. Both experiences have been enjoyable on multiple occasions. Would highly recommend for a nice comfortable night out. Date night or family night, this place works.”

“I have to admit, I DO NOT eat sushi at all. I brought my wife because she loves sushi and it was her birthday. I did my research and all the reviews were very positive. I decided to indulge even though I thought I wouldn’t like the meal. Much to my surprise I loved the meal and my wife was in all her glory. Watching the chefs prepare each course with the precision and attention to detail was great. These chefs really take pride in their craft. 10 out of 10!! Must try again!!!”

“I had a wonderful afternoon with my best friend at the Mad Batter. It was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised by the food, service and atmosphere. I appreciated the ample parking lot too. I think it would be a great place to bring young girls or to have an event like a bridal/baby shower.”

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.”

“Such a hidden gem!!! I have been wanting to try them for almost a year now, and I am so glad I finally did. This is my GO TO spot now for some halal food. The food is soooooo delicious, I don't think I've tasted such amazing food like that in a long time. While alot of restaurants are skimping out because of inflation, this place sure isn't!!! Everything is fresh, never frozen!! The quality is amazing, and the portion is generous for the price!!

Also have to mention how friendly and welcoming the owners are. They know most by name, and always ask how your food was from the previous time you ordered. They give free samples if you are new and not sure what to order. You are treated like family here and they appreciate your business.

The pick up service was quick and painless, which I like especially when your trying to catch your train. I loved a good quality salad and this place did not disappoint, definitely recommend the Mexican Cesar Salad for sure but I will be going back to try the others.”

I am handicap, I use a walker and sometimes a wheelchair and your place is not accessible The ramp is steep and you cannot get to the rest rooms. I’m sure you don’t have many complaints regarding this issue, but I would love to be able to enjoy your tiki bar/ restaurant once again. Thank you !”

“Amazing pizza, crisp crust, fine sauce, the freshest of mozzarella, quality ingredients all around. Staff is always friendly (especially Minas) and greet their regulars by name. Clean and bright. Great place to have a quick lunch but not enough seating for a larger crowd. Highly recommend!”
