Such an interesting atmosphere. Food was yummy. Chopped salad was especially delish! Great service from Amanda. Drinks were perfection. Thank you, Michelle!
Come here very often, food is great and normally service is as well. But had a bad experience this time with the service I received
Five of us had a fine time, great meal. However it would have been easier if we were able to have our bill split into 2 checks. It would have been simple, many other restaurants can do this. We didn't all know each other, we had 3 drinkers, 2 non-drinkers. My only disappointment
The food was excellent, and our server, Taylor, was great, as always! Looking forward to a return trip in the near future.
Great service and delicious food. The space can be very noisy at times . But it was quiet on a Sunday evening
My wife and I had a lovely dinner after seeing “The Phantom “ at Bellport theater. Food and service were excellent.Molly our waitress was extremely attentive.
Track your receipts and charges because Painters added an extra $250 to my credit card. The manager refused to handle the situation until I said I would file a police report for the $250 stolen. Paid the bill 1/2 cash 1/2 credit card and they charged the full amount on the card and pocketed the cash. Luckily I kept the receipt to prove what had happened.
Painter’s is where portion sizes border on the absurd and service moves at lightning speed. On Father’s Day, with the parking lot packed, we braced for a long wait, but were seated instantly, perhaps by restaurant wizardry. The staff? Efficient, friendly, and impressively attentive despite being slammed. The craft beer selection? Solid, featuring multiple IPAs, including Sand City’s local legend, "Oops I Hopped My Pants." And the food? Each dish arrived in comical abundance, leaving us marveling at the sheer generosity of Painter’s kitchen. Massive portions, incredible flavors. As for dessert, Painter’s offers a parade of palate-pleasing perfection. A symphony of sweets so spectacular they silence self-restraint. Countless confections, crafted with precision, passion, and pure decadence. Bring an appetite, a to-go container, or maybe your Wegovy shot.
Too loud could not even hear each other talk. The waitress would come back every 20min . Service was awful. The hostess put us at a tables that wobbles and too close to another one. And preceded to sit 4 other people there that also moved . Was very unhappy. The food was decent. Nothing though I need to come back for.
We had a very nice meal, relaxed atmosphere in the dining/party room. Our server Bethany was wonderful, very professional, polite and on top of things. The menu has quite a variety of selections, something for everyone.

We stopped in for appetizers. Food was good. Our server was really great. I don't remember his name but he had a shaved head and a beard. The busboy was great as well.
Great menu selections and the food is so well prepared. The service is exceptional. Painter's has become a habit for us.
Wait staff was great. Best espresso martinis! Had the Ahi Tuna BLT. Cooked to perfection and large portion. Will definitely return.
I never had an experience like this I went for restaurant week and order the striped bass . I couldn't wait because I ordered this before and it was delicious. The chef deep fried it. Oh god No!!! Then I ordered the pappardelle puttanesca is was so salty and over powered by the capers like the entire jar of capers was in my Pasta. It was not a good culinary experience. I have never had an off meal here. I am surprised this happened. I didn't eat the pasta and just left it on the table. I paid for it , but wish I didn't. 🙁
We were seated as soon as we arrived. We had an engaging and efficient server. The kitchen seems to cook everything well done. The pricing was fine. The restaurant was a bit loud from children eating in the restaurant. We enjoyed our experience.
