Probably the best Israeli restaurant outside of Israel! The food at 12 Chairs is incredible, the atmosphere feels truly authentic, and the whole experience was perfect. Huge shoutout to Adir for the amazing service, so friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back!

Food is delicious, but the space it way too tight, it’s almost impossible not to touch someone at the next table. Service is mediocre

Nice interior, very tasty food, fast service but unfortunately the staff was just „doing the work that has to be done“. No warm welcome or at least a smile, nothing.
The club music at breakfast time is way too loud, which the staff certainly likes, but can't understand that it bothers the guests when they have to shout at each other to communicate.
All in all I don't understand the hype about that restaurant. The location in Manhattan is probably more ‚hygge‘.
Partly recommended.

Authentic Israeli Flavors. Absolutely Delicious and Fairly Priced.
We sat down at 12 Chairs Cafe and were blown away by how authentic everything felt. Not just “Israeli inspired” but truly Israeli food, done right.
Every single dish we ordered was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The service was warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
Unlike many places that try to imitate Israeli cuisine, this restaurant delivers with honesty and heart. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients, the balance in the seasoning, and the love in every bite.
Prices were very reasonable, especially for New York. Great value for the quality and experience.
Highly recommended. An authentic Israeli culinary experience in the heart of New York.

Amazing restaurant!!! The food was to die for. My partner and I went to celebrate girlfriend’s day and have a romantic dinner. We left extremely satisfied with this place! The service is also top notch and accommodating. We will definitely be returning soon!

1 star. Extremely disappointing experience.
We made a reservation for 12 Chairs in Brooklyn and traveled nearly 30 minutes assuming everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, we found the restaurant completely closed — not a sign, not a note, nothing. Yet Google still shows it as “open” and accepts reservations.
This is completely unacceptable. Who is responsible for updating this information? Why are reservations being confirmed if the place isn’t even operating? We wasted our time, made plans around this, and showed up only to find a locked door.
Someone seriously needs to manage this better. This isn’t just bad service — it’s basic negligence.

Went a couple of weeks ago and they were having a fundraiser for Israel.
Just want to mention so patrons know where their money is going.

Not gonna lie, the hummus is good! But the music is obnoxious and offensively loud. I was told that the manager has explicitly asked for it to be that way. Strange and anti-social to not want your patrons to be able to have a conversation over dinner.
Great food and ok service until a large group of 10 girls came in. Then we were totally forgotten about. Totally inexcusable. Will not come back for sit down service
