This Cantonese canteen in Brooklyn is a hidden gem. They serve delicious BBQ meats (roasted duck, soy sauce chicken, char siu, barbecue pork, and crispy pork), congee, and noodles. It's a rare find in the city and a great asset to the local community. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is cozy, and the food is top-notch. Highly recommend this place for authentic Cantonese cuisine!
I love the bbq pork. We bought $15 roast pork 2pm and have the roast pork at 7pm, surprisingly the bbq pork is still crispy. Also very reasonable price. The soy sauce chicken is delicious as well, I got half chicken for $14, it's enough for two days lunch and dinner for one person.
I frequent this establishment for one of my favorite meals. Roast Duck. I have been buying it from 18 Stars for years. Don't overlook their other dishes that may appeal to you. The B1- bus or D-train will take you there.
