I stopped in on Sunday morning for 7 layer cakes and cream puffs with cannoli cream. I think they should have the prices posted. The 7 layer cakes were $25 per pound which is outrageous compared to other similar quality bakeries in the area. Also, I was given regular cream puffs instead of the ones with cannoli cream (it's possible that I could have mis-ordered); but in any case, these regular ones were rather bland. For $8 per pound, the cannoli cream ones are worth it, but the others were nothing special. Overall, this is a good bakery, but given that they don't accept debit/ credit cards, I think they should definitely post their prices.

This has happened in the past before and even though this is one of my favorite bakeries still remaining in the neighborhood, I'm not trying to put the bakery in a negative light but I'm just trying to hopefully bring a change here. I ordered some bread and the girl picked it up with her bare hands. She didn't even sanitize her hands or grab the bread with a piece of paper. She looked very young but no matter the age, you should be taught to wear gloves when handling goods, especially bread. I don't know if they're taught to wear them but just choose not too. The staff touch money and whatever else. It was just unsanitary. I hope going forward they are more sanitary.

A neighborhood staple for the best soft loaves of Italian bread. My kids describe the saviardi cookies as biting in a cloud of deliciousness.

This is the 3rd bag of bread crumbs I have bought from my local supermarket with your name that has some sort of hair in. I don't know if you use some sort of brush or what to clean your equipment but its leaving fragments . I will never buy again

Was at Bari Pork store down the avenue when we stumbled across this bakery and decided to stop. The signage was confusing as to the name and the year established. B. Togati ? Il Fornaio? 18thave Bakery ? 1902 ? 1975 ? The website seems to indicate that the bakery goes by the name “18th Ave bakery” and was started in 1975. Perhaps the signage is the vestiges of the bakeries that preceded? Dunno. In any event, got a cannoli and a custard something and half pound of tarilli. Everything was thing solid. Cannoli shell could be harder. Otherwise nice place.
