855 Knickerbocker Gourmet Deli

Listen, the deli fopod is great and the staff is even greater (s/o) Ameen and Amen, but the problems this deli is lacking is the lack of choices for healthier snacks and a consistent deli man. You basically have to roll a dice when you're walking in to order with the deliman. It's unfortunate compared to the other deli(s) around this because the ingredients tastes much fresher here. I'd like to see more consistency.

The guy behind the counter had no idea what the items on the menu were. An Italian sub is easy, he made it incorrectly, the meat was old. The bacon egg and cheese had old burnt bacon. I will never go back.

Delicious food at a great price! I stop by here regularly for lunch, and I’m never disappointed. The portions are generous, and everything tastes freshly prepared. Try the turkey club or their breakfast sandwiches—so good!
