I wanted some breakfast and this place was open early. I came with low expectations but Food was good and the price was fair. I bought the beef rice noodle roll and eggplant shrimp. I cannot believe I have lived here for 2 years and never gave this store a chance. I guess it is the way it looks outside and inside. However, I was surprise the taste is good. I was going to try another bakery across the street but I saw a line here so I took a chance. Glad I did. I am quite picky with food and both items are better than the actual restaurant. Besides the price. the food is good.

We always love to get dim sum and buns here especially early in the morning. They always have something before the big restaurants open.

The skinny boss is nice, but the fat, old clerk has a bad attitude. The old man is scolded for sitting there while waiting for something to buy, and he is not allowed to wait in the store. He is forced to wait outside the store, which is very excessive. The boss is nice, but the fat old employee is very bad, rude to elderly, she doesn't let elderly sit wait for order, doesn't let elderly stand inside, she kick elderly outside the store to wait.If she doesn't change, no one will come again.

As much as I really want to vote 5 stars I can't. The food is actually a 3 star for me but the price and service jacks it up to 4 for me. The food is mediocre at best. They have a huge selection of dim sum and buns to go but there is just some lacking in flavor and/or texture. I purchased about $70 worth of dim sum and buns so I had a huge variety. Most was a hit and miss. The plain churng fun was just not a pleasant texture, maybe too much flour? The buns were ok but lacking in filling. But service! They must be the most friendliest group I have EVER come accross in an Asian bakery!! I would probably come back just to be served with a smile and friendly chatter....

Only tried them once and not sure if it's a common occurrence, but of the three dimsum dishes I ate, two of them didn't seem so fresh. The shrimp/chive dumplings were off in flavor from what I expected. The whole batch was consistently sour, as if the chives or shrimp were marinated in a bit of vinegar. I have never had anything like it however so I do not know if it was some regional variant of the dumpling or if the filling went bad. At the time of this review (about four hours from the time of consumption) I am not experiencing any symptoms of food poisoning however. For the shrimp rice rolls-- I do appreciate that there were actual pieces of shrimp (decent size nonetheless) in them but they were all also consistently stiff; the noodle wrap dry. As if they were old and cooked twice. It's just conjecture at this point but I do have a pretty negative outlook since the food left a bad taste in my mouth (literally!)

This is my go to spot for breakfast / coffee before work. There's a decent amount of space, but no seating, so everything is to go. There are a nice variety of options on display and I have tried quite a few. I almost always get coffee with milk and sugar, which is creamy, milky, as well as smooth with nice coffee flavor. I have also had the coffee milk tea, which is really yummy and helps my stomach if it is upset. In terms of breakfast items, I enjoy the scallion pork floss bun, 4 corners hot dog, and the very simple pork floss bun with Asian style mayo is soo good! It is loaded with savory pork floss, full of yummy seasoning and tastes amazing with the rich, slightly sweet mayo. The breads are always delightfully soft. I have also tried both the baked pork bun and steamed pork bun. I preferred the baked version, because there was more pork filling, which was tender and full of wonderful flavor. My favorite thing to get is the sticky rice, which is absolutely delicious! It's also a great portion size for only $3. The sticky rice is the perfect consistency, and it contains mushroom, shrimp, as well as scallions throughout. It is also seasoned perfectly. The pork and chive fried dumplings are also pretty good, with plenty of juicy, succulent pork filling. I wasn't a fan of the noodles because they were kind of bland. In addition, it only comes with vegetable and I missed having some type of protein with it. Service is always quick and the ladies behind the counter are very friendly. The prices are very low. For example, coffee is $1.25, most pastries and breakfast breads are around $1.50, while lunch fare is usually $3-5. I will be starting to order some of their iced drinks and sweet treats next.

i tried their fish balls, fried shrimp spring rolls, steamed shrimp rice noodles, and egg tarts. the fish balls are really nice and filling. the filling in the shrimp spring rolls was only shrimp which i wasnt expecting since normally it have other ingredients. if youre a shrimp lover, the fried shrimp spring rolls is definitely for you. the steamed shrimp rice noodles is pretty good too as long as the egg tarts. i would definitely recommend this place if youre in the area.

Dim sum and buns in one place! I have ordered here a few times and thought their plain cheurng fun was great; silky and well made. The red bean with the pineapple bun topping has a good amount of filling. I think it's house made as I saw whole beans in there. The plain sponge cakes in wax paper were ok; a bit dense but still good. I also got the pork floss bun and thought it was solid. The pork floss/Mayo/bun ratio worked for me. The bun had the right amount of chew and the Mayo added a bit of creaminess while the pork floss added salt.
