Came in looking for beer, didn't find what we were tasked to find (nothing against the bodega), but we left with cake, because you can't see that red velvet and not try some ?
Good food. Love their chicken salad! The people are nice too. I think they may have changed their staff recently (for the better!!). In the past the experience was not as pleasant. I used to pay with credit card there, and almost always there were “double” charges on my account. Now, with maybe a different staff that doesn’t happen anymore (I also started to ONLY use Apple Pay there, it prevents all the “double” charge weirdness). I know that there are many bad reviews...
This is a corner convenience food and snack store. I've never ordered hot, prepared food from here, but their prepackaged options are good. Clif Bars and Kombucha drinks are good. Service is fast and friendly, and they take credit cards. Prices are due fair. Convenient access across the street from the subway.
