The food is not exceptional, but extremely good value for the price. Braised pork was decent.

Fresh but flavorless. Kungpao chicken and lo main was fresh and white meat chicken. I appreciate it was fresh and made with care but it had no flavor at all.

Bland food, bad rice... Food was more Chinese American than taiwanese. Some dishes were not correct to their names. Prices were good though.

Good affordable Taiwanese food. The home style eclectic vibe is essential. The granny who runs this place is so nice. Things to get: beef noodle soup, dumplings, Taiwanese fried chicken and any of the house made drinks.

Very nostalgic and homey atmosphere, as well as friendly and welcoming staff.

The prices are very reasonable for the area ($10 or less). Cash/Venmo preferred.

Their best dishes are the braised pork, hands down. Very tender and fatty. For beef noodle, their beef is tender and the soup is flavorful, but the noodle texture can be better, it was too soggy.

The 3 cup chicken and eggplant are too sweet, in my opinion. The potsticker filling were also just alright, but i like how they pan fried it.

Taiwanese obuelita took my order, served my lu rou fan, gave me a flies heads sample to keep up with all the rice, and sang along to the karaoke tv. “If you like it, come back.” ?

I stumbled upon this place on Instagram and was amazed by the affordable prices. While I looked on the table, it mentioned no msg and artificial flavors. While most items are priced around $8, you can even find a lunch small dish for $5. Though not conveniently located, it's the sole dining option on the block. It operates on a self-service basis, saving you on tips. The service was good, and they speak Mandarin and don't seem to
understand much English. The atmosphere was calm, although it did get busy as I was leaving.

Although they advertised a free soup or soda on Yelp, they were out of soup. However, they did offer soda and I selected sparkling water. The ambiance was festive, with decorations from the recent Lunar New Year, and there was a TV playing old school music. I'd like to note that they accept only cash payments or an app called Cash, which isn't very popular. Also, a restroom is available.

Overall, my experience was positive, and I would definitely consider returning.

I recently visited A-Pou's Taste with a friend and had a mixed experience. We opted for outdoor seating, which proved to be a mistake. The area was plagued by dust and debris, forcing us to wipe down the table multiple times. This raised concerns about the potential contaminants in our food.

Fortunately, the cuisine redeemed our experience. We ordered the beef noodle soup, pork, chicken, and shrimp dumplings. The shrimp dumplings stood out as the highlight, but every dish was flavorful and satisfying. The prices were incredibly reasonable, making A-Pou's Taste an excellent value.

While I would recommend this restaurant, I strongly suggest dining indoors to avoid the outdoor seating issues. With improved outdoor maintenance, A-Pou's Taste could easily earn a higher rating.

The potstickers were the best I have ever had. Beef noodle soup has the most tender beef. We all got a drink. Milk tea is very good. Price is good too. ???
