Picked up a delicious meal this weekend - while we did take out, I got there a little early and was offered a seat while waiting - the music and atmosphere were simply lovely and the young women behind the bar were very nice and helpful. Our meals were very good - though we didn't explore a very wide range (daughter got a fried chicken sandwich and I got the fried chicken meal). The yuca fries were new to me but delicious. My daughter and I agreed the chicken was excellent. We will definitely return and eat in the next time.

Don’t ask why I love this place so much open late as well as the kitchen food comes out fresh fast and is delicious - staff are all great people owner is a charm, love the intimacy the lighting and vibes, mostly for dates and friend groups or getting late night GOOD food - drinks are good and strong love it

This review is based on my experience with the bouncer, therefore the establishment.I got in an accident in front of this place after a car that was parked IN THE bike lane opened the door without looking, resulting in a knee and hand injury with open wounds.The driver and I were talking on the sidewalk and the bouncer came over demanding I leave the premises and demanding to see my license (while I’m on a bike?) and threatening to call the police. The only person at fault here were the driver and passenger…He was extremely rude and condescending to me for no reason while we were on public grounds sorting out an accident. Then he proceeds to ask the passenger if they’re okay (in Spanish thinking i can’t understand).The whole scenario was so baffling and it was one bleeding woman against 3 men. Or one bicycle against an SUV. And this dude decided to cuss me out smh

It’s been a while since I was last here. But the atmosphere has always been exceptional. Though food delivery times could improve the quality was great- the customer service was outstanding- our server Julissa “Julie” was beyond professional. Her attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure my guest were all taken care of was a phenomenal. She definitely a role model for other servers to mimic. Definitely recommend the place for those looking for a small, intimate and low key spot.

Took brother for his birthday in December and he didn't want to leave. The foods was delicious but they loved the drinks. The best was the service it was excellent. The ladies were friendly, accommodating and continued to check on us. The music was on point to. Its a cute fun place to go. I only gave 4 stars because the smoke from hookah bothers me.
Yummy food. I had the shrimp monfongo and it was very flavorful. However, I won't be back. The waitresses were not attentive to the table and eating at the bar. I guess you are privileged to act in this poor manner when an 18% gratuity is added to the check for a table of 2.

Running a business is very hard in today’s economy which is why I’m leaving this review with the best intentions that this may improve how they operate.Service is always lackluster, expect your server or bartender to be seated and enjoying hookah or a meal mid service, with auto grat on every check, I personally expect at least 3 star service but it’s never exceeds 1 star. We had to ask the bouncer for ranch during our recent visit as he was the only person behind the bar at the time, he seemed very annoyed by our request, usually the food makes up for the non existent service however during this recent visit it didn’t.The fried chicken platter is usually well seasoned and flavorful however this day it was quiet bland and the mashed was on the sour side think the measurements were off, however I’m not going to judge the kitchen for 1 off day so food for me is good, you can expect decent portions.I can’t say it enough, service really needs to be upgraded, as a service worker myself when I am seated as a patron dining in a auto grat establishment service needs to be more attentive I don’t think that’s too much to ask for after all what else are we paying for?
