Acre is absolutely delicious. The chicken sandwich is fresh and flavorful (try it with a matcha latte). Also, find a table in the back patio for some fresh air dining. The wait time is never very long for food, and the staff is kind. This is a great spot for brunch or lunch in Greenpoint. You will be glad you paid the visit!

Food quality is good
Basically self-service
Atmosphere would be great if it is not very busy. Seats are compacted to each other, so you can easily hear what other tables discuss about. Not a place if you want to have a more quiet space.
I ordered salmon, chicken and salad. All of them taste good but a bit pricy.

Love this spot! I’ve lived in Greenpoint for many years and I’ve seen it changing slowly into little Tokyo, which I’m so happy about. I’m absolutely in love with Japanese culture and food and this spot is excellent! Delicious Bento box and lots of veg options. Highly recommended.

Great Japanese bento place. We had to wait a little, but it was Saturday around 1pm. You can enjoy the Japanese goods they sell while waiting. The food was pretty good and staff are nice. I like the fact that they served black rice instead of white rice on the side.

Beautiful place. Have only had the food from the cafe but it is absolutely delicious every time. Peaceful garden out the back to work in, but FYI there is no WiFi.

Food was good. It took 20 min to serve the bento box, which could be improved.

ACRE is a cozy gem in Williamsburg perfect for a relaxed brunch with a Japanese twist—think egg salad on brioche, crispy chicken karaage, and fragrant hojicha lattes. The airy, minimalist space with garden seating adds to the charm, and the staff is warm and attentive. It’s slightly pricier than your average café, but the quality and atmosphere make it well worth it. Great spot for slow mornings, casual catch-ups, or a solo coffee with your book.

Agree with the others on the pricing, but honestly that’s most of New York. I do think the iPad/tip thing was bizarre. Had the same experience where they stared me down as I added tip. But we buss our own tables and pick up our own food? Maybe this is a commentary on tipping culture in general as I know it’s not unique to acre, but it definitely put a damper on the experience.
