Just here to confirm what everyone else is saying - empty restaurant, no decor, the music is all late 90s euro trash for some reason, and they have maybe the dankest mole enchilada in NYC, highly recommend

The food was beyond words! The owner was attentive, food came out in a timely manner, and seasoned by the Aztec gods themselves! Would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone who’ll listen!!! As you can see my family and I absolutely DEVOURED EVERYTHING!!!

Al pastor is hella juicy and the salsa verde has a good kick. Food is fresh and tasty and the owner is super sweet. Told me to eat my ice cream at the restaurant when I got churros to go bc it would melt on my bike ride home lmao. Cant wait to come back and try their mole!!

Beautiful environment but the food was terrible. It took so long to prepare just to come out cold. The beans were sour. Such a waste.

Best mole enchiladas I've had in NYC and top 2 or 3 of all time. Also had the Al pastor tacos which were decent though next time I'd ask for the guac on the side rather than on the taco. The Mexican chocolate cake and churros are pretty good too.

Great spot. This BYOB has some of the best Mexican food in the area. Haaaands down. The service is amazing, the waiter was very polite and the food was delicious. Definitely coming back!!!

A Mexican restaurant with a 4.9 average rating!?! Impossible, we had to check it out! It is Agave on Wyckoff ave. The first impression is not the best because it is empty. But we decided to give it a chance. We started off with some carnitas tacos, then some pastor quesadillas, enchiladas de mole, a Jamaica water and we ended up with churros. The carnitas tacos were espectacular, to be honest the best carnitas around here!! The mole enchiladas were great too, that mole was fantastic…I wonder what are all the chiles that they use, you can definitely taste the chocolate in the sauce and it is not too spicy. The churros were good, kinda light for a churro but with a nice fluffy texture and taste. We talked to the owner and he told us that the lack of decore is because they are waiting on the liquor license so they are trying to figure out where that’s gonna be. Buuuut he also told us you can BYOB!! So there you go. Great service, and fantastic food, no wonder they have the highest star average. Gracias Don Julio por su hospitalidad.

This place is a gem and I’m glad to have found it. The food is incredible and elevated. We had the Chocolate mole chicken enchiladas and al pastor burrito. Excellent horchata!

Nice neighborhood Mexican restaurant with fresh, well prepared favorites. The salsas are excellent. The dining room is very no frills, so you’re not going for the ambience but the staff is friendly and has some hustle. Food is worth it.

I love it!!!.Totally 5 or more Stars...Clean and simple but in the end the food it's what matters.I ordered pozole and a ginger tea. It's more that what I expected.First the costumer service then the presentation of the food. And the flavors...Just like back home...And the price it's affordable. You can eat inside, always following the rules, stay healthy.
