Okay, I just got back from Ajimi and I had to immediately write a review because this place is fantastic. Seriously, every single thing we ordered was great. The highlight for me was hands down the Ajimi Kuro ramen. I could eat that stuff every day. It was just perfectly savory and delicious. If you go, you HAVE to get it. What really blew me away, though, was the value. The food was exceptional, and the portions were actually really good. I was expecting less given the price, and other reviews so that was a huge plus. We definitely left full and happy! And finally, the service was on point. Our server was attentive and great, checking in on us when we needed something but never hovering. It was that perfect balance where you actually get to enjoy your meal without constant interruptions. Bottom line: If you're looking for fantastic ramen and great Japanese food that won't empty your wallet, go to Ajimi. You won't regret it!

The broth tasted good, the ramen itself wasnt good and the portions were lacking for the price you pay. This establishment is cash only which is also a highly inconvenience in 2025. I wouldnt come back, there are so many better ramen options in NYC.

On Monday night, I was the only customer at the table. I sat by the window, close to the kitchen, where a chef with long hair and a hat was constantly coughing, not even wearing a mask. It made me feel like the food I was eating was full of viruses. At that time, I ordered Kuro Ramen!

Food was decent however the service was horrible . Waitress was in the middle of taking my order and then someone comes for a pickup so she rudely walks away from us while we were ordering . After she gives the walk in his pickup order she proceeds to take the order of 2 other tables before coming back to finish taking our order!! Place is cash only as well

The food is so good, I ordered more food to take home. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely try the garlic sauce. The Pork dumplings taste so good. The broth was yum and the pork was so good. The staff was nice. I went on a Tuesday.
