Freshly made warm pita and flatbread from the oven! Nice dough and crust. Dishes were generous but under seasoned. Generous shwarma pieces on flatbread were overcooked. Rice with almond slivers from ouzi lamb was very fragrant and tasty. Comfortable seating. Light and airy. Attentive service.

The Lahma Bi Ajeen Flatbread is very good! The rest of the dinner lacked flavor and seasoning. I ordered the Kefta Kebab. It was very boring. The rice was terrible. If I were to go back, it would be for the flatbread

Some of the best food I’ve had in awhile!! We got the six layer chicken dish with garlic yogurt and pita and it was delicious. One serving was enough for two of us so it ended up being a very reasonably priced meal. The service was fast and it’s beautiful on the inside of the restaurant. The staff was very sweet as well and I’ll definitely be returning ?

I was in the city for a meeting and decided to get take out from Al Badawi to take home for dinner. My whole family loved the feast they prepared for us. It has excellent flavor, was beautifully packaged, and great protein sizes. The staff even helped me carry everything out to the car.

This was my third visit to Al Badawi. Previously I found the food, service and atmosphere to be excellent. This time, I was terribly disappointed with the food. The flatbread with pistachios, which had been delicately crispy and flavorful last two times, was doughy and undercooked. Instead of lavash bread, we were served lumpy, doughy pita to go with some tasteless hummus and soggy baba ghanoush. The tabbouleh had way mostly just parsley with little else in it. Nothing was like before. Something has gone terribly wrong here. Not going back again.

After the rave NY TIMES review I was perhaps overly and unrealistically anticipating a superb dining experience. This was unfortunately not the case. Atmosphere is ordinary and the service and food average. We were politely requested to move tables_ literally mid way through our dinner- the first time this has occurred to me in 50 years of dining out! We did accommodate after negotiating for free desert, which should have been offered at the outset but was not ! Overall a totally average to slightly negative dining experience . I will not be back!

Service, atmosphere, and food was amazing here. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and there was a lot of space and it wasn’t too busy, which is surprising because the food was phenomenal. Our waiter was really patient with us helping us select our dishes given we wanted to learn about their traditional Palestinian dishes they specialize in. He helped us choose some of the restaurants favorite appetizers and main dishes. The pita bread was warm and freshly done, even smoky after pulling it apart. The muhammarah was my favorite appetizer and the malfouf was great too. The Mansaf was delicious - the rice had soaked the flavor of the lamb stewed in a yogurt broth. The lamb was so tender and delicious.Portions were a great size. Family style do you can share dishes amongst each other.I can’t wait to come back and try more traditional dishes!Vegetarian options: Many appetizers dishes were vegetarian

Came for my birthday dinner last night. This was my third visit and it was lovely as always. Ordered the mansaf (lamb stewed in broth and yogurt over rice and flatbread) and it did not disappoint. We had two vegetarians in our party and they were more than satisfied with the falafel and the big spread of mezzes we ordered; we loved the zahir (cauliflower) in particular. I didn't get the shawarma this time, but it's some of the best I've ever had anywhere. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the floral displays in the restaurant add lots of charm, and of course I'm glad to support a local Palestinian business during this time. If I lived closer by, I'd be here every week! A real gem in this neighborhood.

Best middle eastern restaurant I have tried in nyc! Also, the prices are much better than most other similar places I have been to. They don’t sell alcoholic drinks, but do allow
