During winter, this place is a dream. During summer, it becomes a sweltering nightmare with no air conditioning. Still, I can get drunk and immediately forget all issues.

Clean, comfy, friendly. A good date spot. A bit on the pricey side though.

The waitress came off rude and impatient while taking my order. Before using my reward coupon I didn’t know I need to redeem it at the cashier in order to use it, but when I showed my Alamo app to her to prove the coupon is in my app, she stared at me and simply said “no” deadpan🤷🏻‍♀️

I really like Alamo and have been to many around the country - but this was easily the worst service I have ever had. The front desk people yelled at me to show my tickets - every other alamo you just walk in - and were super rude about it. The waiter did not show up until after the movie started and barely got my order in until about 45 min into the movie.

I finally visited an Alamo Drafthouse. I live in the Bronx and the theater we had nearby closed last year. AMC has become too expensive, so for Christmas my son and I went all the way down to Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn and the experience was the best I’ve had in a long time. Seats were great, service was great, food was great. I spent a good 80 bucks on food alone. This will definitely be the theater I see new movies going forward. Can’t wait for the summer movie season to start!

I love coming to this theater with my kids. They offer reserved seating and affordable food and snack options. Typically I would go on a Tuesday and end up paying roughly $10 per ticket. Their bottomless popcorn is about $11 and flavored popcorn options like the truffle Parmesan or the churro popcorn (which has actual pieces of churro in it!) are $12. They also offer kid size shakes for $5 dollars a piece and bottomless soda at about $7. The adult beverages are decent, specifically the margaritas, which is what I had. I enjoy their cheesy nachos with beef and loaded fries, which both cost around $14. I must say after visiting other movie theaters I can’t deny the quality of service that I’ve received here as well as the value compared to other theaters and their snack prices. My children and I will continue to come here anytime a new movie that we want to see comes out. #TheyHadMeAtBottemless 😝

I was really hoping this location would be much better than the FiDi one, which is just disastrous, but unfortunately it was only slightly more palatable. It’s funny they have so many policies aimed at reducing disruptions to the movie because the most disrupting elements of my experience were
1) servers not responding to my requests to order
2) wondering whether or not my food/beverages would ever arrive
3) uncomfortable seats with no neck support

My friend’s margarita arrived literally 45 min into the movie. The popcorn was a disgrace. Cold, no butter, and like a thousand unpopped kernels interspersed throughout. And it was supposed to be “bottomless”, so I asked a server who came through at one point if we could have a refill (since my other two friends were eating it because they were starving). He said “put on the light on your tray and your server will come”. Ok?? I thought you’re a server? Nobody ever came. Movie ended. We saw the 7:10 showing of Babygirl and sat in row 2, seats 1-3.

Also— no parking anywhere near. It’s located in the top floor of a mall in the most congested region of downtown Brooklyn. Be sure to leave 15 minutes before that start of the film just to get to the theater entrance once you reach the mall.

And as an addition, relax with the lateness policy maybe? I wasn’t late, but I never have heard of a rule like this in a movie theater. It’s not a Broadway play. Let American movie theater culture live.

Overall, disappointing. The plus side was excellent screen size/picture quality/sound.

Normally have had pretty good experiences at Alamo, but this recent trip almost ruined Nosferatu for me. The sound was uncomfortably deafening for the size of the theater and had my ears ringing. Additionally, we had to wait until 45 minutes into the movie to receive an order of popcorn (only item ordered) that arrived unsalted and unbuttered. I'll take my chances serving myself at a normal theater next time.

I always love seeing movies here. No talking, reserved seats, food and drink, reclining seats, etc.
