The staff here are always super friendly, no matter what time of day you stop by, which definitely adds to the experience. However, it is on the pricier side compared to other local coffee spots like Variety. I paid $18 for a bacon (Canadian ham), egg, and cheese on focaccia. It was tasty, but honestly, not quite worth the price. The space is very small and can be uncomfortable waiting for food/drinks when there is more than three people inside.

The coffee and pastries are good. The breakfast sandwiches are exceptional, but the friendliness of the staff is what will keep you coming back

Honestly, one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to , best iced latte ive had in my life, super kind and friendly, bubbly and cheery staff that are happy to help you
with whatever you need. In my opinion the overall top two best food items, no doubt have to be the chocolate chip cookie and the absolutely delicious banana bread. The chocolate in the cookies melts in your mouth not your hands and the bread I am not gonna spoil for you because once you try it you can never and I mean never go back to any other banana bread in the entirety of the world and yes I do realize this sounds like the most abstract review you have probably ever seen but when you go to alita, you will understand. Trust me man

Good place! they are very welcoming & kind :) I think I got a cup with 'USA' wrote on it long before and had some misunderstanding about it. but that's just short for Iced Americano. me and my roommate got USA cups from other coffeshops for iced americano too... Leaving the reveiw just in case if anyone also misunderstands too 😂

UPDATED 5/18:
I had to to leave ANOTHER 5 ⭐️ review bc every. Single. Time I go here it’s always AMAZING customer service AND such great drinks. Go here!!

Where do I begin.. first, I love how their menu is like a “build your own coffee” format. My go-to is a mocha. Unlike literally every where else you go, they had an option to choose my own size, and then add in the chocolate and milk. & It still came to $5. All the other places I go, there’s only one option for a mocha; therefore one size and one price, which usually is $7. Second, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE was incredible!!!!! They were extremely nice and fast and efficient. Third, the chocolate chip cookie was soooo good. I already ate it so I can’t add a pic, sorry not sorry. Lastly, That is my new spot for sure! Highly recommend and it’s right off the L , grand street stop

A clear 10/10 experience, the coffee is to die for. The service is excellent. It's a small cozy coffee spot with a community feel. Everything we tried was amazing. Come for the great coffee, stay for the great vibes!

Espresso was mediocre (like most NYC coffee shops - focused more on their food than their coffee). Biscuit egg sandwich was killer - would go back just for that.
