I have liked their pastries and cakes in the past, but my recent experience has completely turned me off from them. I’ll never support their business again. I ordered a cake for my sister’s bridal shower about 2 weeks in advance. When I went to pick it up, the person who took the order had filed it under the wrong date. So after 15 minutes of fumbling, (making me quite late) they asked if I could wait 40 minutes for them to make it.
I sent my husband back to pick up the cake, and instead of writing “showers of happiness” they wrote “showers and happines”. My husband had to point out that happiness has two “s”. He didn’t think they would be able to fix “and” so he brought the cake to the shower. I had him go back and tell them to fix it. They “fixed” the cake, but then the grooms name was spelled incorrectly. After 3 trips to the bakery, the cake finally did arrive at the shower with everything spelled correctly, but it was severely underwhelming. The cake was dry, the writing was plain and small, and the trim was sloppy and sliding off the cake in places. I’m sorry I even paid a deposit for the cake because it was just awful and the service was horrendous.
Moral of the story is to support local independent bakers who take pride in their work instead of businesses who don’t care at all about service.

Gorgeous and delicious pastries. I went in on a Sunday morning and Krystelle, the only employee, was being *wonderful* and patient with an irate customer, and then patient with me as I selected ten different kinds of cookies for her to get out of the case one at a time.

It’s Tuesday 8:49 PM I drive about 4 miles to get here to pick up some cookies and I’m told that they’re closed Their Google webpagestates that they close at 9:30pm the young lady at the counter says they close at 9 but it’s It’s 8:49 PM and the doors are open, The lights are on, but I can’t get service. Doesn’t really make sense either you need to adjust your Google times or any specific time whether I’m walking in or calling in i was really turned off by that. Horrible costumer care and service.

Pastries are amazing, but cash only. Fix this. Have a machine, charge us the 3.5%, but find a way to take cashless payments in 2024 please. Some don't like carrying cash.

So I saw there posting about hiring on Craigslist, I took up my phone and called to verify this was so, the lady who answered said yes they’re hiring I can come in for an interview. I took two buses 1 hr total to visit and was told by a lady not sure who told me they are not hiring because they just took on 4 people who are in training but I’m to leave my name and number. I was a bit upset I said I wish the person who answered had told me that. She said it wasn’t her who answered the phone. So I left furious because I’m a human being. This place give off racist vibes. Because a day after I visited I looked on Craigslist and the post wa s just reposted that they are hiring. Karma await businesses like these
