Sadly the food was bland and a little overcooked.

Came here on a Sunday night. Surprised the place was empty because the vibe and food was perfect. I felt like it was a 2nd date+ spot . Very intimate . Check it out 😍

Had a baffling experience there on 3/1/25. We were sat after a 20 minute wait and asked to order immediately before the kitchen transitioned from the brunch menu. Understandable but it would have been nice to have been told that this was the case when we put our names in to sit down. Proceeded to order two burgers and a couple drinks. The food came out 10-20 minutes later but was mistakenly given to the couple next to us who had been seated 5 minutes before and did not order burgers (side note to customers: maybe don't eat someone else's food that obviously isn't what you ordered? They proceeded to talk about how quick the service was and how great it was that they got burgers when they ordered salads, lol). The wait staff eventually realized what happened when we flagged them down another 15 min later but didn't apologize or take any accountability, just asked if we wanted two more burgers without letting us know if anything would be comped, if they'd prioritize the replacement food coming out quickly, anything. Hungry and angry at this point we just finished our drinks and told them we were leaving. We flagged down our server to ask if we could give feedback to the manager (as we would have preferred to do that rather than leave an online review) only to be told that there wasn't one because everyone manages themselves. Again no apology or anything. The wine was good though!

The burger is a solid 9.5/10. Cooked exactly how you want it and tastes freshhhh.
The fries are absolutely amazing too. We ordered an extra size because the entire table was eating my fries

And my friends enjoyed their dishes as well. They got the
Source bowl and
Pork belly wraps.

The service was great too ❤️

This place feels like home I go there so often. Best frozen drinks in Brooklyn. Best burger in NYC. Nachos if I wanna be bad, the source bowl if I wanna be good, crispy chicken salad somewhere in the middle. Everything’s good.

Friends and I were having a wander, and one of them had JUST mentioned Allswell, the day before. We opened the door simply to peek. Rikki greeted us and was SUPER friendly in the perfect CHILL way. We were gasping at the interior---so gorgeous! You could be in a Vermont inn or a spotless pub in the British countryside. We thought we'd be on our way, to come back later. Rikki pointed us to the menus and we HAD to stay. One friend ordered vermouth and soda, one a glass of wine, and I had the scrummiest juicy IPA. Something about that atmosphere... I almost never drink a juicy IPA in autumn or winter. My friends shared a piece of coconut cream pie and couldn't stop moaning--especially about the easter egg (except it wasn't cuz Rikki told us it would be there) of chocolate ganache atop the--I want to say snickerdoodle --crust. I got the griddled sourdough and edamame dip. The bread was shockingly, deliciously grease-proof and the dip had this amazing heat on the backend. Give me a watermelon radish any day, and I'm yours. The bestie and I don't often agree on venues, but we've had to add this to our list. Worth a trip to Billyburg just to see Rikki. All that wonderful gastronomy is almost secondary. But, it's not...Run, don't walk. Then take a load off, relax, and soothe your belly and your soul, while you elevate your spirits and delight your tongue!

Great local restaurant with pub atmosphere. Burger was very good, and on a below freezing day the spiked cider hit the spot!

We’ve eaten here a couple times in the last few months and it’s rarely let us done. Surprisingly some of the best huevos rancheros in Williamsburg are delivered here. The eggs Benedict are great and the French toast. The only let down was the egg tacos which seemed very uninspired and kinda bland. But we will forgive them for that just this once.

Went there last Thursday night for a little solo dinner. Sat at the bar and had a great time! The bartender, Priz, was so sweet and accommodating! Drinks were amazing and food was so good. Will go back every Thursday just to sit at the bar and hang and eat with priz!
