We had reservations and were told to wait at the bar for 25 minutes. No complimentary drinks. Nothing. Why even get a reservation?
Edit they were out of everything, wine, bread, multiple dishes. What kind of restaurant runs out of bread, wine and cheese!!!
AVOID THIS PLACE!
Kid-friendliness: They may make your kid wait at the bar FYI
Wheelchair accessibility: Not friendly!

We popped by Ammazzacaffè on a Saturday night without a reservation, so we ended up at the bar. Service was just fine but the vibe felt more midtown Manhattan than Brooklyn. The pasta was a bit tough — especially the Tortellini. I also tried the Gramigna, but it wasn’t much better. The Lattuga salad was the highlight of the meal though. Overall just an okay experience.

Excellent service, drinks, and food. I messed up and thought I booked my reservation for 9:30, but it was really for 9, and they still honored us. Will be back soon!!!

The Bolognese I ordered was phenomenal. Half my family are from Italy and it reminded me of their cooking.

The atmosphere seemed great however the group I was with didn't have the best experience.
We had a reservation for 8:30pm since we were a large group of 14, and when we arrived they said that the table before us was just wrapping up. We weren't seated until 9pm and we were seated at two separate tables so we couldn't all see each other. This part confused me because they knew the size of the group and if they didn't have a single table that could fit everyone, it would've been easier for them to tell us that so we couldn't find a new place.
While ordering, there was a lack of vegetarian options, which was fine since it was only myles's and one other person, still slightly disappointing though, especially since it's italian food. It then took until 10 for the rest of the table to get their food. The portions were extremely small for each dish being 20-40.
Overall, we didn't have the best experience here and I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone if they are vegetarian or are hosting a large group.

If I could give this restaurant a 0 Star I would. We went to celebrate my sister birthday, our reservation was at 8:30 PM and the hostess was to "shy" to tell the other party to leave. We were sat down at our table at 9:30, a whole hour. And then the server, don't know her name, but she was super innatentive and was not willing to explain the dishes for first time diners. Overall the food was alright, the lamb was bland, and the pasta was the only thing that I liked, but thats because its just pasta lmao. Everyone kept starting at us because we were dressed like clowns core even the manager. Only white people zone which i don't mind going because I'm just there for the food, but you can tell we were definitely not usual customer demographic. The restaurant is pretty and small (smaller than I thought). Overall 7.5/10 would not dine again here.

I’ve been wanting to come to this place for some time as I live around the corner and I’m slightly upset at myself for waiting so long. I was completely beached by the end of the meal. I sat at the bar and ordered the half chicken dish and their basque cheesecake. The chicken had crispy skin and was cooked perfectly, the bratwurst juicy and spiced perfectly, and the spatzle gave the dish a nice bite and soaked up the lovely, slightly tangy sauce. The basque cheesecake just put the nail in the coffin after that - rich, creamy, a truly gorgeous slice. I was sufficiently satiated and had to be wheeled out the front door. Will be back.

I felt like I was dining in Italy! The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were authentic, and the portions were generous. The seafood risotto was packed with flavor, and the panna cotta was the perfect ending. Can’t wait to return!

One of my favorite local restaurants. The food is exquisite, consistently incredible. Each dish is presented beautifully, the staff is friendly and the vibe is perfect for a nice night out or a hang at the bar. Highly recommend!!

i wouldnt recommend coming here. the worst service i have ever endured. i should've saved both of our times by walking out but the food was what kept me there. the service falls magnitudes below the prices, interior design, & interesting menu.
i am truly the simplest guest, and the last time i left a negative review was because a restaurant poorly responded to my food poisoning many many years ago. maybe the bartender just hates women, but the service is called out many times in the reviews.

The service was awful. Haven’t written a review in ages. The food was good. The service was incredibly unpleasant. The waiter by the name of Jesse was the most inattentive waiter I have had in years. When i discreetly raised my finger and my glance was on him, he avoided meeting eye contact assuredly knowing I needed something. I forgot to order a drink, and when signaling him over at a moment that looked free for him, he avoids eye contact and when I verbally voice my need for assistance he rudely answered and seemed incredibly bother to be coming over. After finishing our entrees we waited 15 minutes while he served literally every other table in the section, talked to his friends at one table and the bar before he strode over to ask if we needed anything else. Waited 15 minutes for dessert and wasn’t even offered. Knowing our check is less money than other customers, his feigned care and attentiveness to other tables in comparison to ours was blatant and disappointing. I wrote a small note at the end of the meal to be discreet but upon skimming the reviews tonight to see nearly all of them mention this gentleman, who quite frankly clearly doesn’t belong in the food industry, I felt prompted to voice yet another comment of concern and hoping the owner understands why a Michelin bib restaurant is close almost under a 4-star Google average. It is sad to see your loyalty to someone who is quite obviously smearing the reputation of your institution.
