We went on a Sunday and got two of the Sunday specials, the polpette and the chicken parm-aggedon . They were both phenomenal!!! To finish we got the brownies. It was the perfect amount of food for the two of us. The service was good and it was such a cute little location! Will be returning!!

Haven’t been back since I watched the bartender grab ice with bare hands to fill a drink. The manager and maitre d were standing right there and no one said anything. He then touched the POS system and made another drink the same way without washing his hands.
THIS IS A BASIC FOOD AND SAFETY RULE.
The food was so good! Just got back from Italy. I approve all pasta dishes from here

It took me a while to discover this Italian restaurant, but it’s definitely my favorite.
I’ve been here 3 times already with my girlfriend and the quality was consistently great.
I tried all their Pasta dishes, their appetizers, their spritz and their house wine. It all felt like back home in Italy.
The patio in the back is a beautiful, and it has a great vibe.
They have the perfect Italian style espresso, and a great selection of amaro. To be honest a place called ammazzacaffè must have that.
The service was always kind, caring and attentive. Also when I and my gf stopped by for the price fixed menu (spending significantly less) the service was equally good.

The ambiance at this restaurant was lovely, with the added bonus of outdoor seating. The service was exceptional—our server was incredibly patient and attentive throughout the evening. However, the food did not meet expectations. The pasta dishes, priced around $25, were served in very small portions, slightly undercooked, and the flavors lacked cohesion. We left quite hungry! While I appreciate having had the opportunity to try it, I likely wouldn’t return.

Ammazzacaffe in Brooklyn is an absolute gem. Every dish felt thoughtful and made with so much care. Fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. The roasted vegetables were perfectly charred and silky, and the salad with heirloom tomato, strawberry, cucumber, basil, and croutons was so light and refreshing.
The handmade Agnolotti pasta dish was the true standout for me; stuffed with ricotta almond pesto, drizzled with balsamic, and buried under a glorious heap of cheese. Hands down, the best pasta I’ve ever had. Nothing else even comes close. It’s truly unforgettable.
The pork belly skewer with cherry pepper mayo and agro dolce was another hit; crispy, juicy, and packed with sweet heat and richness. The meatballs(best meatballs I ever had btw) were deeply savory and rich, and the beet salad had such a nice contrast, creamy smoked ricotta with a touch of pistachio.
And the desserts? Don’t miss them. The brownie with ice cream was indulgent in the best way, and the cheesecake with yuzu cream was insanely smooth and bright.
The space itself is warm and intimate, perfect for a relaxed dinner, a romantic date, or catching up with friends. On Sundays they have live jazz band, which is such a nice vibe while having dinner. You can tell the team here puts heart into every detail of the experience.
I’m already counting down the days until I can go back. Easily one of Brooklyn’s best, and honestly, one of the best in all of New York.

I absolutely adore this cozy little restaurant--easily one of the top Italian spots around! Ammazzacaffè offers an impressive variety of pasta and dishes. Here's what we tried:
- Salmon and steak tartare: Both were delicious, served with perfectly toasted rustic bread on the side.
- Agnolotti: Rich and flavorful, topped with shaved Parmesan and a drizzle of balsamic--absolutely delightful.
- Quadrotti ravioli: Stuffed with braised duck and mushrooms, this dish was the star of the evening. Packed with flavor, perfectly moist, and an absolute must-try.
- Anatra (dry-aged duck): As a big fan of duck, I was excited for this dish, but it fell a bit short. I wasn't a fan of the farro coating on the duck skin.
- Tiramisu: So creamy and decadent--an excellent dessert.
- Yuzu cheesecake: A perfect balance of flavors, not overly sweet, with just the right amount of yuzu.
They also offer a $12 caviar bump with any cocktail, but we opted for the mini martini--it was amazing and well worth it! This spot is perfect for a date night or an intimate gathering. Highly recommend!

Solidly mid experience. Basic service mistakes (taking plates away before appetizers come out, forgetting to bring out drinks, food slow to come out). Restaurant was far too loud, people shouting to have a conversation. Food was just alright, lots of dishes with pesto and almond. Notably the seafood pasta had barely any seafood. I wouldn’t say any of the dishes were bad, but certainly nothing stood out. Better alternatives for this price point

The lemon pasta... the little gem salad.... Ive said enough. Just make a res and try it, you won't be disappointed. Absolutely love their Amaro program and their staff is exceptionally knowledgable about pretty much everything. Great management.

$28 and $25 pastas. It was ok but just reallyyyy tiny for the price. We both left hungry. Lights were on way too high. Service wasn’t amazing. Kind of disappointed. Don’t come here if even slightly hungry…

Fake Italian food. Nice place standard service but the food is no way near Italian with the Manhattan prices. If you know your Italian food you don’t go here, so many other good real places. Bourdain would turn in his grave if he tasted the bottarga spaghetti that he loved so much.

We had reservations and were told to wait at the bar for 25 minutes. No complimentary drinks. Nothing. Why even get a reservation?
Edit they were out of everything, wine, bread, multiple dishes. What kind of restaurant runs out of bread, wine and cheese!!!
AVOID THIS PLACE!
Kid-friendliness: They may make your kid wait at the bar FYI
