We really enjoy the food at Amorina—always fresh and delicious, and definitely one of the better spots in Prospect Heights for Italian. Unfortunately, the service really detracts from the experience. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and throughout the meal we had to ask multiple times for basics like bread, silverware, and finally the check. The restaurant was also extremely loud, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy. We’d come back for...

How could anyone not rate this place a 5? OK, you may have to wait but isn't delicious authentic Gelato worth a wait? Especially when helpful employees like Marie keep letting people know how and where they can order?

We had the tricolore pizza last night and it was the best pizza we had ever had. It was accompanied by the special salad which was great. We sat outside & it made for a perfect Summer dinner. We highly recommend this neighborhood gem!
