Great pasta, service was great, but pretty expensive and formal
Kid-friendliness: Served my kid butter pasta and were very sweet for her birthday.

Best pasta, Italian food, and service. Went on a really special date here and the vibes were perfect. Lorenzo and team are incredible.

I honestly expected something more from the cuisine, given that it is so renowned; maybe or because I chose the dishes from the Thanksgiving menu. In any case, you appreciate the atmosphere and the environment with true Cozy vibes, very warm, welcoming and relaxing. The staff Massimiliano the barman was super kind and helpful, we exchanged a lot of chat, and Davide the good-natured waiter. To repeat, I don't know, maybe yes, maybe to try the cacio e pepe, but I wasn't completely satisfied. New York restaurant prices, don't expect prices like in Italy. For a full route it takes over $100+tax.

We had the four course meal. The appetizer was great, but the rest was just okay. The spaghetti was harder than al dente and was absolutely soaked in an unappetizing green sauce and covered in cayenne pepper. The chicken cutlet, while large, was missing a sauce. It came with a salad and tomatoes. The vegan chocolate gelato tasted like frozen reconstituted pudding pops. For the exceptionally high price the food was decidedly bad.

Antica Pesa is one of my favorite restaurants where to dine in NYC. The food is delicious (best amatriciana in the city hands down) and the vibe is just great. I love Antica Pesa, for an Italian who lives abroad is really the home away from home :) I can’t recommend it enough

An exceptional restaurant in the heart of Brooklyn...professionalism, elegance, good food...a corner of Italian excellence, when you go to the Big Apple an evening for dinner in this place becomes an unmissable event.
Elegance and professionalism in an all-Italian venue...❤️🇮🇹🇺🇲

Great ambience but terrible food. Every pasta we ordered had an insane amount of salt to the extent that we were not able to finish any of it. Even on the bread, they put so much salt that we could not get a palate cleanser.
Our server was also rather rude to us. On a Friday night, they had 1 server serving 20 tables, he barely showed up and had a very stiff attitude.
When one of the managers came to check in on us and realized that I had barely eaten my pasta, he ended up explaining to me that that’s how Cacio E Pepe is made :)
Never going there again

We had a luncheon after my mother’s memorial Mass. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. We are extremely grateful to Lorenzo and Erin, the bartender, sommelier, kitchen staff, and wait staff for their warm, first-rate, and extremely responsive approach to managing the entire event. Thank you.

Visited for NYC Restaurant Week. Excellent antipasti (buffala and prosciutto), followed by cacio pepe and hazelnut gelato. Cocktail offerings are diverse. Interior design on the fancy side at the cool location of Williamsburg. Host kept calling me 'tesoro', which I am not too enthusiastic about, you get the vibe.

My First Time.
The Food. Excellent!
Service! Excellent. The whole staff was great!
Ambiance. Excellent.
Lorenzo ran around making sure everything was perfect. He must have lost 10 pounds working so hard.
I will be back again soon to bring some more newbies!

Definitely authentic but with some innovative takes on old favorites. Friendly and professional service. A must for a nice night out. We will definitely be back!

The food was excellent, however the prices are a bit ridiculous. Espresso martini that was in a glass about the size of a shot glass was $21 for example. I would come back more if it were priced a bit more reasonably.
Food and atmosphere were okay, but we an overwhelmingly negative experience with service a few months back.
Our food came out very late in comparison to other guests with no explanation, when we asked the interaction became defensive and confrontational, so much so where we will likely not return as it took a lot of effort to resolve the issue. It is a shame as I had a previously solid experience the time prior but it seems like they are overall inconsistent.
